Chapter 211 Truly Amazing
"He can think it over again." Adeline stood under the streetlamp, wearing a black jacket, her long legs and slim waist evident. "We don't force people."
Jason laughed heartily. "Going in or going bankrupt, he has no choice. You're ruthless!"
"He deserves it." Adeline slowly curled her lips. "He had his chance."
If he didn't cherish it, who could he blame?
He repeatedly caused trouble and even involved Summer.
Adeline was never one to let grudges go unavenged.
Henry should be grateful he has the Martinez Family's blood, otherwise, he would be the next one going in.
As for Summer, Henry would definitely be the first to go to her.
He thought he could cry like before, and Summer would be softened.
But this time, the Lumina Vitae Foundation didn't even let him in.
Summer just sat in the backyard, her hand caressing the bracelet Bradley Martinez left behind. "Bradley, Henry has been disappointing since he was young. You said to give him some time, and I always thought, let it be; if he gets bullied, so be it. After all, I'm dying soon, but he's harming others!"
Summer wiped away her tears. "If I speak up, Adeline will surely let him go, but I can't let Adeline suffer. There are laws in the country and rules in the family. Bradley, you and I were both wrong. His heart is not right anymore, how can we save him? He's beyond saving."
Outside the door, Henry saw that crying was useless.
He started cursing, "I've never seen a mother as heartless as you! You should have died with my dad back then!"
Henry realized that he couldn't count on Summer at all.
If he couldn't get this house back, he would have to use the company to pay off debts.
He didn't want to fall to that level and become the laughingstock in Eldoria!
Henry returned home in despair.
The servant saw him and quickly came forward to take his briefcase.
Plus, this month's salary had been delayed for half a month already.
Rumors were spreading outside that Angela had been arrested.
The servant, feeling anxious, couldn't help but mention, "Mr. Martinez, when will you settle our wages? My family is really short on money."
Hearing the servant's words, he waved his hand. "Go find Alvin Rios at the company tomorrow." Actually, several of his cards had been frozen.
"Yes, sir," The servant finally smiled, comforting Henry. "Mr. Martinez, don't worry. Ms. Martinez is still around. She just called and said she saved an important person in Zelphoria and is waiting for your call back."
Henry's eyes, which had been lifeless, suddenly brightened. "Really?"
"Ms. Martinez couldn't reach you or Mrs. Martinez, so she called home." While the servant was saying, Henry was already dialing back.
At the March Mansion, Stella was sitting there, imitating Ashley March by picking up the teacup on the table, trying to blend into the circle.
Kayla March couldn't help but laugh.
Ashley, however, scolded her, "Kayla, Ms. Martinez cured Wyatt. Don't be rude."
Kayla found it boring and left.
Ashley, with her graceful demeanor, said, "Ms. Martinez, don't mind her. Kayla has been spoiled by me. But you, Ms. Martinez, at such a young age, have such medical skills. It's truly admirable."
Stella blushed and shook her head, appearing humble.
Ashley didn't think much of this. No renowned doctor would be so petty.
But Stella's medical skills had indeed opened their eyes.
Wyatt March had a sudden heart attack and a history of illness, almost beyond saving.
Stella casually gave a few acupuncture treatments, and Wyatt was fine. It was truly miraculous!
