Chapter 179 Writing a Complaint Letter
Adeline said, "I guess so; the world is full of wonders, after all."
"Who do you think it is?" Summer's question was quite sharp.
Adeline smiled. "I think it's Lynx."
"Lynx?" Summer was puzzled.
Adeline patiently explained, "It's a code name. Every hacker has an online nickname to protect their real-life identity."
Summer paused. "Adeline, how do you know so much about this?"
"Robert told me," Adeline replied calmly. "He even showed me Lynx's biography. Lynx hacked into a bank system at the age of six. He is a computer genius."
Summer muttered, "Robert, that kid, always looking at these strange things."
"Indeed." Adeline nodded in agreement.
Summer added, "This Lynx is pretty good."
Adeline laughed. "How so?"
"Haven't you heard the classmates praising? Fighting for justice!" Summer snorted adorably. "People like Whitney deserve to be exposed!"
Adeline's smile deepened.
But then Summer suddenly changed the topic. "You need to focus on your retake. I asked Charlie last time, and he said he could tutor you. You should have him stay at our house tonight."
"Stay at our house?" Even Adeline, who could foresee many things, didn't expect this. "Grandma, do you not have confidence in me?"
Summer didn't fall for her provocation. "I have confidence in you, but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you don't make this call, I'll contact Charlie myself. He told me to notify him immediately if you need anything."
Adeline was rarely at a loss; things were getting out of control.
"I'll call him when I get back and have him come over tomorrow."
Adeline mainly aimed to appease.
After all, she didn't need to study.
If he really came to stay, some things would be hard to manage.
She hadn't forgotten that her live stream was still banned.
Whitney was giving her a hard time at this moment.
Adeline tapped her phone's smooth surface with her fingertips. She thought she might know who was behind this.
Meanwhile, Angela, who was hosting a family dinner for Jade, had prepared a table full of lobsters and even opened a bottle of well-aged Lafite.
She didn't know her plan had already failed.
Until Whitney called, Angela's smiling face immediately fell. "What did you say? Adeline wasn't expelled?"
Whitney didn't tell the truth, only vaguely said, "Aaron wants her to stay, there's nothing I can do."
"What about her cheating with a perfect score?" Angela immediately asked.
Whitney's eyes shifted. "That matter is definitely confirmed. You know her grades."
"That's good." Angela was happy again. "Your efficiency is as high as ever."
Whitney felt a bit guilty, but she had no other choice. "Mrs. Martinez, I've completely offended Aaron this time. He's suspended me. What do you think..."
"The Taylor Family is so clueless now? It's ridiculous." Angela said smugly. "I've disliked the Taylor Family for a long time. Aaron's blatant protection of Adeline is a perfect opportunity to take them down. I'll write a complaint to the Department of Education right away!"
