Chapter 143 Her Whereabouts

Even if Angela didn't borrow money, this live streaming room should be hers!

Thinking about it, Angela was about to get up; she couldn't keep getting the massage.

Right then, Henry called her, telling her to come home ASAP.

Henry was still dreaming big and started telling Angela about today's events as soon as she walked in.

Angela gritted her teeth, feeling pissed. "I should've scratched her face when she left!"

Henry frowned. "I'm telling you this so you can get closer to Summer. If Summer's happy, she'll definitely put in a good word for us with Adeline."

"She's really not picky, even flirting with old men in her live streams." Angela sneered. "No wonder she gets so many tips; turns out it's all from Mr. Bailey."

This made sense; otherwise, she would have thought Adeline was some kind of genius, making her way with just her medical skills.

Henry, getting impatient, said, "Enough, now's not the time to talk about this. Are you going or not?"

Angela wouldn't really make Henry mad. "I never said I wouldn't go."

How else could she take over the live streaming room if she didn't go?

"Then hurry up and bring them some gifts." This was the only time Henry would think of Summer.

When Stella came back, she saw this scene. "Mom, where are you and Dad going?"

A servant stepped up to take Stella's things, smiling. "They are going to your grandma's place."

"Going to Grandma's?" Stella's eyes showed a hint of something, but she quickly smiled again. "Dad, Mom, I'll go with you."

Angela pulled her aside. "Why are you going? Your grandma has everything she needs; you don't need to worry."

Stella's voice was soft. "Then why are you going in such a hurry?"

Angela squinted. "It's because of Adeline. She's stubbornly staying there and won't leave. Her family is even stranger; they haven't come to take her back."

What Angela didn't notice was that after hearing this, Stella's hand tightened slightly.

"You've only been back for a few days during your break. Dress up nicely and go out with Harold more often." Angela adjusted Stella's hair. "The Livingston family is indeed hard to get into, but if you can secure the Mitchell Family, that's enough."

Stella shyly lowered her eyes. "Mom, we have just started seeing each other."

"I'm not that conservative," Angela whispered in Stella's ear. "If you two really like each other, it doesn't matter if you sleep together."

Stella grabbed her hand, lightly biting her lip. "Mom, what are you talking about? I just got back."

"Fine, I won't interfere." Angela smiled with satisfaction. "As long as you know what you're doing, it's fine. How can Adeline compare to you? You're going to marry into the Mitchell Family, and she found an old man."

Stella finally showed some real emotion. "An old man?"

"I won't talk about these dirty things with you." Angela picked up her bag. "I'm going to see Summer."

Stella didn't insist on going with her; instead, she unusually went upstairs.

The servants came to ask several times, and she said she just wanted to rest.

When it was quiet enough, Stella took out a phone hidden at the bottom of a drawer and dialed a number.

Soon, the other side answered. "Stella! You finally called! How are things over there? Are you used to it? Why haven't you contacted us?"

Stella didn't answer the question, only whispered, "Last time you said someone came looking for her. Did you tell them her whereabouts?"
