Chapter 243 No One Can Escape
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone present had a change in their expressions.
Before Harvey could lose his temper, Jessica was already so angry that her eyes were wide open.
Adeline was clearly cutting off their family's financial path!
"Shut up!" Jessica stepped forward, ready to grab Adeline's hair.
This time, Amara didn't stop her. In the entire Ravenwood County, no one dared to speak to the Spencer Family like this. This city girl was asking for it!
Unexpectedly, as soon as Jessica made a move, she felt dizzy and her legs went weak.
Luckily, Samuel was right beside her and caught her. "Mom, what's wrong?"
"She's made me so angry my head is spinning." Jessica shook her head.
Harvey's face didn't show anger, but his eyes darkened. "She's really hard to tame, but the wilder you are, the more I like you."
He tilted his head. "Jessica, why don't we marry her today and have the wedding tomorrow?"
Harvey had never seen a girl like Adeline, so cold and fierce. He wanted to see if she would still be so wild after he had his way with her.
Thinking of this, Harvey's eyes gleamed. "Leroy, do we still have a room at home?"
"Yes." Leroy didn't expect Harvey to hold Adeline in such high regard. "There's an inner room!"
Amara, holding her bag, was a bit dissatisfied. "Think it through, we can have any kind of woman we want, why this ungrateful one?"
"Amara, don't worry; she'll be obedient in a while." Harvey's eyes were dark as he reached out to grab her.
Cadence, worried about Adeline, couldn't hold back any longer and rushed out.
"Don't touch her!"
Cadence was holding a kitchen knife.
Harvey sneered. "Isn't this the woman who just left my bed the day before yesterday? Move aside, I'm not in the mood to play with you today."
"Don't come any closer!" Cadence stood in front of Adeline, her lips tightly pressed together, her hands trembling, but her eyes full of intense hatred. "Take one more step and I'll kill you!"
Reidar growled. "You crazy woman, what are you talking about?"
"You too!" Cadence's eyes were red. "You're all beasts who deserve to die!"
Reidar sneered, lifting the child in his hand. "Then try it, and let the child die with you."
Cadence's body trembled. No matter how unwilling she was to give birth, that was still her child.
Suddenly, Adeline reached out and held her hand. "It's not worth dirtying your hands for these scumbag."
Harvey lost his patience. "When a woman is too stubborn, you really have to use your fists."
Leroy and Reidar understood the hint.
Leroy licked his lips and smiled. "Mr. Spencer, no need for fists. Since we're giving her to you, we'll make sure everything is arranged. I put some drugs in the water she drank earlier. By now, it should be taking effect, and she'll be begging for you."
"Using drugs is no fun." Harvey looked at Adeline with a sinister smile. "It's more fun when she's conscious."
As fellow women, Amara and Jessica heard this and laughed along.
"Yes! Teach her a good lesson!"
"Does she even know where she is?"
Cadence panicked, gripping Adeline's hand. "You've been drugged! When? I should have watched you!"
"I was careless," Adeline said nonchalantly, her eyes cold and enchanting as she looked at Harvey. "As a public official, aren't you afraid of being investigated for doing this?"
Harvey loosened his collar. "Investigate all you want. To tell you the truth, in Ravenwood County, no one dares to dig deep into the Spencer Family."
Adeline suddenly raised her hand and smiled. "Friends on the internet, if you heard that, type 1 in the chat."
