Chapter 1001
"Alexander?"
He heard Elizabeth's voice by his ear.
Alexander turned his head. Elizabeth was frowning, "What are you thinking about? Let's go?"
"Aren't you going to look a bit longer?" he asked.
"I've seen this fountain many times. What's so interesting about it?" Elizabeth glanced at the fountain, her voice clear and cold.
Alexander smiled but said nothing.
In the past, every time she came, she used "haven't seen enough" and "let's watch the fountain a bit longer" as excuses to keep him from leaving.
Indeed, the difference between a woman who loved you and one who didn't was significant.
She couldn't fake it at all.
"Then will you stay and watch with me for a while?" Alexander looked at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth had to stop her steps.
She blinked and looked at the fountain again, "Didn't you say you didn't like watching it?"
"When did I ever say that?" He was stunned.
Elizabeth frowned, "Every time I asked you before, you said you didn't like watching the fountain."
Alexander's eyes became complicated. He looked at Elizabeth, feeling indescribable, a mix of emotions.
"Stay with me for a while." He grabbed Elizabeth's arm, insisting on keeping her.
Elizabeth shrugged, alright.
The two of them sat on a nearby bench.
January in Lisbun was very cold.
There were quite a few people on campus.
Elizabeth rubbed her palms together, blowing on them as she looked at the fountain that wasn't spraying water.
In winter, it couldn't spray water; it would freeze.
Too dull.
Elizabeth was getting restless, mainly because it was a bit cold if she didn't move around.
She was in a daze, as if she had gone back to the past. Back then, she would pull Alexander to sit for half an hour. How did she endure such cold?
The funny thing was, sometimes Alexander, helpless, would sit with her for half an hour.
"It's so cold, let's go?" Elizabeth couldn't take it anymore.
He looked at Elizabeth, her nose tip red from the cold. Her already beautiful face had an indescribable, fragile beauty.
"Let's get something to eat, my treat." Elizabeth suddenly said.
Alexander didn't understand.
"Just not sure if you'll like it." Saying this, Elizabeth had already stood up.
Alexander was still sitting on the bench.
"Are you going or not?" Elizabeth turned and asked him.
Alexander nodded.
From now on, wherever she said to go, he would follow.
Alexander followed her.
Elizabeth walked beside him. The two of them turned left out of Lisbun University and entered a small alley. The alley was full of food stalls, crowded with people.
"So many snacks?" Alexander was a bit surprised.
Elizabeth wasn't surprised.
After all, it was Alexander.
He was the heir of the Tudor family, the pride of Lisbun.
