Chapter 1092

Fortunately, Lila managed to hold on during the second half.

After the shoot, Elisha and the producer insisted on taking Lila and Kieran out for dinner, saying they had already made reservations.

Lila really had no choice and couldn't refuse, so she looked over at Kieran.

Kieran checked the time and thought it was about time for Lila to eat something, so he agreed.

Elisha wanted to invite Cecilia and Eloy as well, but the producer stopped her, saying, "Let's keep it small, just the four of us."

Elisha thought for a moment and agreed.

The restaurant was not far away, and Elisha had already ordered the food in advance, so they could start eating as soon as they arrived.

Kieran stayed close to Lila the entire time. He hadn't eaten yet, he first served Lila a bowl of soup to soothe her throat and warm her up.

Elisha was talking to Kieran, but his attention was on Lila, and the conversation revolved around her. "Elisha, I'm just here as an accompanist today, so there's no need to pay attention to me."

Lila kept her head down, drinking the soup. She didn't feel like talking.

Kieran probably noticed this and took the initiative to start a conversation with Elisha. "Why don't we talk about Lila's performance today? I'm not a professional, but I thought she was amazing. Especially that last part, the emotional transition was intense. How did she manage to switch from manic to sorrow so smoothly?"

"You must don't watch Lila's shows often. Her acting is top-notch!" Elisha began to boast about Lila to the producer.

Lila was glad she didn't have to talk.

Kieran then served her some food, signaling her to eat more, and occasionally nodded. "Is that so? I really haven't watched much. That's my fault. I'll make sure to catch up on her shows when I get back!"

"Lila has so many great performances. It's hard to pick just one standout."

Kieran laughed.

Lila's condition had improved a lot.

In the latter half of the dinner, she was able to join in the conversation and participate a bit.

Kieran, being someone who had been socializing for years, completely controlled the flow of conversation.

Whatever he wanted to talk about, the topic would shift accordingly.

And he did it in a way that didn't feel forced or uncomfortable. Talking to him, you could feel his charm.

Lila realized that you really couldn't judge someone by appearances alone.

Some people become highly sought after not because of luck, but because they truly have the skills.

But then again, Kieran's appearance was also quite good.

He was handsome and very capable.

As for the bad things, it was probably what people said about him being a playboy, changing women as often as he changed clothes.

Lila was lost in thought.

Kieran turned his head and happened to meet Lila's intense gaze.

Was she looking at him?

What was she thinking about?

Kieran raised his hand and waved lightly.

Lila immediately snapped out of it. What?

She wasn't embarrassed, just looked at Kieran.

"Feeling better?" he asked.

Lila nodded.

"Are you full?" he asked again.

Lila nodded again.

At this dinner, she hadn't said much, but she was the one who received the most attention.

At the same time, the conversation at the dinner had always revolved around her.

This was Kieran's most impressive ability to control the situation.

"Shall we leave?" Kieran asked.

Lila nodded the whole time.

Whatever he said, she agreed.

Elisha and the producer stood up as well.

At this point, Kieran said, "She wasn't feeling well this afternoon, had a bit of low blood sugar. Thank you both for the dinner. She's much better now. I'll take her back early, don't want anything to happen to her, or her manager won't let me off the hook."

Both of them were stunned.

What?

Elisha frowned. "Lila wasn't feeling well this afternoon?"

"Yes," Kieran smiled slightly.
