He said this a bit louder, clearly intending for Alexander to hear.
How could Alexander not understand their mindset?
He responded, "Yes, I'm the lucky one. So if you give me another chance, I will definitely treat Elizabeth well."
"Men are always good at talking!" Celine said, as if she had seen through Alexander long ago.
They soon arrived at the supermarket entrance.

"Were you scared?" Grant quickly patted Celine's shoulder, signaling her not to worry.
Alexander watched this scene and suddenly felt a bit dazed.
Grant and Celine had been married for so long, yet Grant's eyes were still full of Celine.
This was what a real couple looked like.
No wonder Grant and Celine didn't accept him.
In their eyes, he wasn't fit to be a husband at all.
