Chapter 906
"My college roommate, Thalia, who went abroad after graduation?" Elizabeth tilted her head, vaguely remembering.
Thalia immediately said, "Yes, yes, yes! Elizabeth, you actually remember me!"
"Of course I remember you. I often asked you to help me with roll call in college," Elizabeth said with a smile.
"Elizabeth, our group is planning a class reunion before the end of the year. How about it? Any chance you can join us?"
Elizabeth didn't know how to respond.
Another class reunion. She had just run into a classmate at the hospital entrance today asking if she would go.
Could this group have planned it together?
At this moment, Thalia added, "I also tried to contact Esme, but I couldn't reach her. How are you and Esme? I remember when I went abroad, you two weren't on good terms."
Elizabeth pursed her lips, "Esme and I haven't been in touch for a long time. Esme isn't doing well; she seems to be sick. You don't need to try contacting her anymore; you won't be able to reach her."
"Is that so! I just got back to the country, so I'm not really up to date with what's happening here. Anyway, come to the reunion! I'll share some juicy gossip with you then!"
Elizabeth didn't want to go.
She was afraid that if she went, she would become the so-called juicy gossip.
Who knew, Thalia then said, "Elizabeth, I also have some juicy gossip about Alexander. You have to come; I'll tell you then."
"What?" Elizabeth looked up at Alexander.
How could Thalia have gossip about Alexander? They didn't even go to the same college.
"Anyway, you'll regret it if you don't come. That's it for now, I have to call others!"
With that, the call ended.
Elizabeth didn't know how to respond.
Great.
She was actually a bit curious about this gossip about Alexander.
"Who was that?" He was really getting a headache.
Elizabeth didn't tell him.
"Don't ask," she said firmly.
Alexander was speechless. Fine, he wouldn't ask.
The door opened; it was Rose coming home from work.
"Elizabeth, do we have guests?" Rose asked cheerfully.
Elizabeth nodded, "Yes."
Rose walked into the living room with a smile, but the moment she saw Alexander stand up, her smile froze.
Alexander as a guest was a bit unexpected for Rose.
"Mr. Tudor, what brings you here?" she asked.
Alexander replied, "Just a sudden visit, sorry to intrude."
"No, no, not at all," Rose said awkwardly, then heard the sound of cooking from the kitchen.
Rose then asked, "Who is cooking?"
"It's Dad," Elizabeth noticed Rose's confusion.
Rose motioned for Alexander to sit, then went to the kitchen.
Sure enough, she saw Declan cooking.
"Declan, what's going on?" Rose asked, puzzled. "Did he come by himself?"
"He brought Elizabeth home, and I invited him in," Declan explained.
"And stay for dinner," Declan added.
Rose was puzzled, "So, have you accepted him?"
"No," Declan said. Acceptance was still a long way off.
Declan was just being polite.
Declan explained his gratitude towards Alexander to Rose.
Rose was relieved.
So that's how it was; she was really startled.
"Then I'll just interact normally?" Rose was a bit flustered.
She was like Elizabeth, wary of Alexander's status.
"What else?" Declan shouted.
