Chapter 1120

Elizabeth was stunned for a few seconds, her eyes quickly scanning the two of them.

How did the two of them end up together?

Esme suddenly disappeared from the mental hospital, could it be because of Valentin?

Did Valentin rescue Esme?

Elizabeth's gaze must have been filled with too much confusion. She heard Valentin's response, "Surprised, aren't you? Esme and I together."

Elizabeth snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Valentin's face.

Valentin looked quite good, more pleasing to the eye than the last time she saw him.

Valentin smirked, "I brought Esme out of the hospital. Are you surprised?"

Elizabeth didn't understand, how did the two of them know each other?

Esme took two steps back, leaning against a pillar, gently playing with her fingertips.

Although Esme looked fine overall, her actions and expressions showed that she was different from ordinary people.

Esme's suddenly furrowed brows, trembling fingers, and clenched fists all indicated that Esme was not normal.

Elizabeth focused her gaze.

Esme suddenly looked up, their eyes met.

Elizabeth's heart skipped a beat, as if she had seen a witch.

Esme's hatred was unmistakable. If looks could kill, Elizabeth would be dead by now.

Elizabeth snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Valentin again, "What do you want?"

"To see you dead," Esme interjected.

Elizabeth couldn't help but frown.

Valentin immediately said, "Don't listen to her. I won't let you die!"

As he spoke, Valentin raised his hand, pinched Elizabeth's chin, and smiled, "Marry me."

Elizabeth was momentarily stunned.

What?

Esme was even more displeased in the background.

Pervert!

Elizabeth squinted her eyes, finally showing some expression, though it was somewhat sarcastic.

"What did you say?" Elizabeth's voice was still a bit hoarse.

Valentin wanted her to marry him?

Was he crazy, or did he think she was crazy?

"I think Ms. Russell marrying you would be quite fitting," Elizabeth smiled, unable to resist dragging Esme into it.

Esme glared at Elizabeth, her eyes cold and fierce.

Valentin sneered, "Am I crazy? Marry a lunatic?"

Besides, he didn't even like Esme.

What was Esme? Did she deserve to marry him?

In an instant, Esme suddenly rushed forward, grabbing Valentin's arm, and defended herself, "What did you say? I've said it many times, I'm not! I'm not a lunatic!"

Valentin shook her off with a look of disgust.

Esme, after all, was a woman, and with her emotional state, she was quite frail. With Valentin's shake, she was thrown to the ground.

Esme couldn't help but cry.

Elizabeth frowned as she heard Valentin shout, "That's enough! I've put up with you for a whole day, you crazy woman! Don't you ever get tired of being so annoying?"

"Valentin, you used me, and now you're discarding me?" Esme cried.

Elizabeth couldn't understand their conversation.

"When did I use you? What did I make you do? It was you who shamelessly insisted on following me!"

"You're such a liar! We had a deal—if Elizabeth died, I would take the fall!" Esme shouted.

Elizabeth was shocked.

Lisbun and Dream City were different. In Dream City, you could get away with murder and arson, but in Lisbun, you would be held accountable. Although Valentin was the second son of the ruler of Dream City, in the face of Lisbun's authority, he was nothing.

If Elizabeth really had an accident because of Valentin, Lisbun's law wouldn't spare him, and neither would Alexander.
