Chapter 975
Alexander's movements were very gentle, as if he was afraid of hurting Elizabeth.
His arm started bleeding, but he didn't feel any pain.
After helping her put on her shoes, Alexander stood up.
"Mr. Tudor, how is your arm? Should we go to the hospital?" Nolan quietly reminded from behind.
"It's nothing, I'll take care of it myself when we get back." Alexander glanced at it, not taking the wound seriously at all.
Elizabeth pointed to his arm, "Let me help you with that."
Alexander looked up at Elizabeth, what?
"Nolan, go buy some iodine and gauze," Elizabeth said to Nolan.
Nolan nodded and immediately went out.
There was no one around, only Elizabeth and Alexander were left.
Alexander knew Elizabeth was worried about him, and he felt that the injury was worth it.
Alexander and Elizabeth supported each other as they walked out.
Elizabeth's foot was in some pain.
She hadn't felt it when she ran down earlier, but now she did. It seemed like she had stepped on something.
But what bothered Elizabeth more was the coldness in her feet, which made her hands cold as well.
In the lobby on the first floor, the hotel staff hurriedly apologized.
"Mr. Tudor, Ms. Percy, here are some disinfected towels."
"Mr. Tudor, have some water."
The staff bustled around Alexander and Elizabeth.
Nolan returned with the items Elizabeth had requested.
Elizabeth sat on the sofa, still looking a bit pale.
Alexander looked at Elizabeth, with a hint of concern in his eyes, "How are you?"
Elizabeth smiled, she was just a bit flustered and would be fine once she calmed down.
"Mr. Tudor, the elevator malfunction was our hotel's fault. We are truly sorry for the trouble it caused you! The boss just said that all the expenses for today's annual meeting will be waived."
Hearing this, Nolan and Alexander looked up at the staff member.
Waived?
"It wasn't your fault, it was just an accident. Forget it." Alexander declined lightly, starting to feel the pain in his arm.
Not only pain, but also coldness.
Elizabeth's fingers were really cold.
Elizabeth's movements were very gentle, but Alexander still felt a sting.
"Mr. Tudor, the boss insisted. We hope you can accept it! We really appreciate you choosing our hotel." The staff member said while glancing at Elizabeth, who was treating the wound, "Mr. Tudor, maybe we should go to the hospital for this wound?"
"No need, she can handle it." Alexander glanced at the man.
The man moved his lips, clearly wanting to say something, but remained silent.
Elizabeth finished bandaging the wound.
"All done." She said.
Alexander pointed to a cup of hot water nearby.
He picked it up and handed it to Elizabeth, "Warm your hands."
Elizabeth nodded.
"Although the wound isn't serious, avoid getting it wet, drinking alcohol, or eating spicy food." Elizabeth reminded Alexander.
The cup in her hand was warm and comfortable.
Alexander looked into her eyes and nodded seriously, "Okay, I'll listen to you."
Elizabeth glanced at Alexander, then silently took a sip of water.
Nolan went to handle things with the staff.
After all this commotion, it was already 2 AM.
Leaving the hotel, Elizabeth was very tired.
Her high heels were too uncomfortable, and she didn't want to walk at all.
Once in the car, she leaned against the window and dozed off.
Seeing her head bump against the window a few times, Alexander couldn't help but gently move her head to rest on his shoulder.
