Kieran stood quietly on the side, occasionally helping Lila with some notes.
When someone handed something to Lila, he would assist in passing it along. He was like a little assistant following her around.
The director and producer were shocked to see Kieran like this.
Such a distinguished person as Kieran, now obediently assisting Lila.
It was truly surprising.
Lila glanced at Kieran several times. Kieran was talking to someone outside, "She still has scenes to shoot later. She'll take photos with you all when she's free."
He was worried that Lila would be too busy signing autographs and taking photos with everyone, losing her focus. So he tried to make everyone wait until Lila finished shooting.
Kieran leaned against the wall, wanting to smoke. He fumbled in his pocket and noticed that no one around seemed to be smoking. He glanced at Lila.
Lila happened to look up and saw Kieran about to smoke.
The director spoke first, "Mr. Getty, you might not know, but Lila hates smoking the most. None of us dare to smoke in front of her."
Kieran paused, then smiled and patted his pocket, saying, "I don't smoke. I was just getting my phone."
With that, Kieran took out his phone from his pocket.
Lila said nothing and continued discussing the script with the director. If there were no issues, they could start shooting right away.
Kieran crossed his arms, casually scrolling through his phone, occasionally glancing at Lila.
Lila looked truly beautiful and charming when she was serious about her work.
Of course, when did Lila not look good? She always looked good.
Kieran couldn't help but take out his phone and secretly snap a couple of photos of Lila.
In one of the photos, Lila happened to look up, and their eyes met through the lens.
The moment she looked up was breathtaking.
Kieran cleared his throat, put away his phone, and turned his head.
Lila looked at Kieran for a while, then smiled and continued discussing the scenes with the director.
"Mr. Getty, are you bored? How about I show you around?" the producer suggested.
Kieran nodded, "Sure."
He was just idling around anyway, and Lila's fans had mostly been dealt with.
The producer walked ahead, introducing the movie to Kieran.
It was a suspense romance film. Today, Lila was guest-starring as an informant with crucial clues, and her character had a past relationship with the male lead.
Although Lila's role wasn't extensive, it was very important. It required someone with great acting skills and stunning looks, so having Lila in the film was an honor for them.
They arrived at the set where filming was ongoing, and Kieran watched from behind the camera with the producer.
The male lead was the rising star Eloy Strother, just twenty-six and already making waves. With his impressive height and striking looks, industry insiders were betting he'd become the next big thing in film.
Kieran stood with his arms crossed, studying Eloy's flawless face on the monitor.
He couldn't help wondering.
Over the years, with Lila surrounded by so many gorgeous men in the industry, had any of them ever caught her eye?
"The male lead is pretty good, right?" the producer suddenly asked Kieran.
Kieran snapped out of his thoughts, "What?"
"Pretty good," Kieran replied.
Someone shouted, "The female lead needs a touch-up."
Everyone relaxed, no longer as tense as during the shoot.
"Can we shoot Lila's scenes next?" the producer asked another director while going over the schedule.
The director nodded, "Yes, we have time. She'll go straight to the flashback scene with the male lead, then shoot. By the way, there's a kissing scene. Have you told Lila?"
Kieran had been somewhat distracted, but upon hearing this, he immediately looked at the director.
What?
Wasn't Lila just here for a simple cameo?
What was going on? How was there a kissing scene?
