Chapter 979
Alexander curled his lips, "Yeah, I never noticed before."
"She's like a little kid."
The next night, at Eaglecrest Mountain, the race cars sped along the winding roads. Some waved flags and cheered, while others watched with bated breath.
A nondescript black Ferrari pulled into the parking lot.
Elizabeth picked up a hat nearby and put on a pair of black sunglasses. The sunglasses covered half her face, and her black down jacket wrapped around her perfect figure.
With this disguise, no one should be able to recognize her, except for Felix.
As soon as Elizabeth got out of the car, she saw Felix waving from a distance and shouting, "Boss!"
No matter how much she disguised herself or changed cars, he was always the first to spot her. She had no idea how Felix did it, as if he had a tracker on her!
Next to Felix was Callum.
"How come you have time today, Callum?"
Callum nodded, his tone calm and indifferent, "I don't have any classes. Felix said you were coming to race tonight, so I came along."
Elizabeth smiled and patted Callum's arm.
The three of them entered from the parking lot. There were a lot of people here tonight, twice as many as the last time Elizabeth came.
Elizabeth took a card and signed the letter "M" at the entrance.
In the information column above, Elizabeth saw many well-known racers.
It seemed that with nothing to do at the end of the year, everyone had come to join the fun.
"They say Steve will be here tonight. I wonder if it's true."
"The last time Steve showed up was here. Do you think this Eaglecrest Mountain racing club might be under Steve's control?"
Passing by a few men, Elizabeth pursed her lips. Although she liked racing, she had no intention of becoming a club owner.
Managing was the most exhausting job.
"I wonder how Steve's skills are now. I really want to see her cornering and accelerating trick."
"So many people have tried to imitate her over the years, but none have succeeded. That woman is terrifying!"
Everyone's conversation revolved around Steve.
Because it was winter, the club had set up an indoor observation room.
Elizabeth followed behind Felix and Callum, and the three of them entered the observation room.
Several large screens were broadcasting the racers on the track. The race hadn't officially started yet; everyone was warming up.
"Look, the color of that car matches my boss's car." Felix noticed the purple race car on the screen.
The car Felix had prepared for Elizabeth was also purple.
Elizabeth still preferred purple; otherwise, she would have changed the color of her Pagani long ago.
Elizabeth watched quietly; these people all seemed formidable.
"Have a seat, you three," someone called out to them.
Elizabeth withdrew her gaze and was about to sit on a sofa when she heard someone outside say, "This race is really popular tonight."
"Why do you say that?"
"Everyone knows, right? Steve is here!"
"Yeah, everyone knows."
"Do you know who else is here?"
"Who?"
The man found a seat while saying, "I just saw Alexander and Kieran outside! These are the two big shots of Lisbun!"
Hearing this, Elizabeth paused as she was about to take out her phone.
Felix and Callum exchanged glances and looked at Elizabeth.
No way, such a coincidence, they came too?
"Kieran loves watching races; he comes often. Mr. Tudor doesn't come as much, but didn't he come to last year's Eaglecrest Mountain race?"
As they spoke, the door to the observation room was pushed open. The club manager walked in with Alexander and Kieran.
