Chapter 955
Lila also replied with a hugging emoji.
Elizabeth: [Waiting for you to come home.]
Lila: [Okay, I'll come back as soon as I'm done!]
Elizabeth turned off her phone.
Soon, she arrived at the Percy Family residence.
It was exactly one in the morning.
Elizabeth got out of the car.
She put Alexander's suit jacket back in the car.
Her outfit today was indeed very sexy.
Although her makeup was no longer as perfect, she still outshone all the socialites in Lisbun.
Elizabeth watched Alexander's car leave, feeling relieved. She thought about taking off her high heels to walk inside, but then remembered it was winter.
It was too cold, so she decided to keep her shoes on and head inside.
As she pushed open the door, she heard Rose's laughter, "You know, this kid is really something."
Declan said, "I wonder if Elizabeth's future children will be as smart."
Rose replied, "Of course! Our Elizabeth is so smart! If she finds a smart man, we'll have a genius baby too!"
Elizabeth pouted. They were talking about all sorts of strange topics while she wasn't home.
How did they even get to talking about kids?
As Elizabeth changed her shoes and walked into the living room, she heard Rose ask, "You're back?"
Elizabeth thought they were so engrossed in their conversation that they wouldn't notice her and wanted to sneak up and scare them.
"Yeah," Elizabeth said.
"How were the fireworks Mr. Tudor set off? Were they beautiful?" Rose asked Elizabeth.
Elizabeth paused, "Mom, you know it too?"
"Of course. Such extravagance, fireworks all over the city, so loud we couldn't sleep! Who wouldn't know?"
"And that big screen, even though we know Alexander is very rich, it's the first time I felt like everywhere I go, it's all about my daughter," Rose joked.
Elizabeth chuckled and squeezed herself between the two of them on the couch.
She hugged Rose's arm, acting like a child, and said, "Mom, why are you teasing me too?"
Declan asked, "Why did he set off so many fireworks for you?"
Elizabeth replied, "Because I wanted to, so he set them off for me."
"He's really spending a lot now, willing to do anything," Declan grunted, handing his phone to Elizabeth, "Look at my Facebook, it's all about you and Alexander."
"Alexander is really popular, so many people are watching!"
It's quite funny.
So many people wanted their daughters to get close to Alexander.
But no one made it.
Only Elizabeth had a relationship with Alexander, yet she lost so badly.
It's really laughable and pitiful.
"I'm tired," Elizabeth yawned and was about to go upstairs.
As she was leaving, Declan called out to her.
"We received an invitation to the Tudor Group's annual party today. Can we go?"
Elizabeth looked at her dad, confused, "Why are you asking me?"
"If you have no future with him, we naturally won't go. But if you plan to remarry him, it's better for us to attend this time. It mainly depends on you. If we go and you get upset, what then?"
Elizabeth remained silent.
