Chapter 980
"Is it really Mr. Tudor and Mr. Getty?"
"Their presence truly elevates today's event."
"With Mr. Tudor and Steve here, even official events don't get this kind of turnout!"
Everyone laughed heartily as they watched Alexander and Kieran being escorted to the VIP room.
Elizabeth lowered her head, fiddling with her phone, pretending to be uninterested in them.
Felix, standing nearby, also didn't dare to lift his head. After all, Alexander knew him.
Just as Alexander was about to enter the VIP room, someone called out from behind, "Mr. Tudor."
As Alexander turned around, his gaze unintentionally fell on Elizabeth.
Elizabeth kept her head down, not looking at him, with her sunglasses covering half her face.
Alexander frowned slightly; this person seemed familiar.
As he was thinking, the man called out, "Mr. Tudor, you actually came to watch the race?"
Standing before him was a man in his thirties, dressed in racing gear, clearly one of today's participants.
Alexander had to shift his focus back.
He looked at the man in front of him and smiled, "You actually came to compete?"
"I'm just bored," the man waved his hand, draping his arm over Alexander's shoulder as they walked into the VIP room. "How have you been? I heard you're pursuing your ex-wife."
"News travels fast, huh?" Alexander said, glancing again in Elizabeth's direction.
She was gone.
Alexander didn't have time to think more as he was pulled into the VIP room. The room was well-insulated, blocking out any outside noise.
"Alexander, I think I saw someone familiar!" Kieran said, sitting on the sofa with an apple.
Alexander didn't respond, but the man next to him spoke up, "Mr. Getty, you have nothing to do today either?"
"I'm here with him," Kieran pointed at Alexander, smiling.
Alexander gave Kieran a disdainful look, giving him another chance to answer correctly, "Who's with whom?"
"I'm with you!" Kieran said confidently.
Alexander picked up the fruit basket on the table, ready to throw it.
Kieran laughed, "Just kidding. He's here with me."
"Watching a race is more fun with a friend. It's boring alone, right, Rolf Tackett?" Kieran asked the man in the racing suit.
Rolf nodded, "Indeed. Tonight's race is worth watching. Steve will be here tonight too!"
"Who's Steve? Have you seen them?" Kieran asked curiously. "I heard it's a woman, but do you know what she looks like? Fat or thin, beautiful or ordinary?"
Rolf shook his head, indicating he didn't know.
Kieran was puzzled.
So mysterious!
The VIP room door opened, and someone shouted, "Rolf, you're up next. Stop chatting!"
"Got it," Rolf nodded.
Rolf stood up to leave. Alexander called out to him.
"Rolf, I saw a woman wearing sunglasses earlier. Who is she?" Alexander asked calmly, taking a sip of water.
Rolf raised an eyebrow, a woman with sunglasses?
"I heard someone mention a beautiful woman with sunglasses. Not sure if it's the same person you're talking about."
"She's probably a nobody. Why, Mr. Tudor, interested? Want me to find out for you?" Rolf said with a smile.
Though Rolf seemed a bit unserious, Alexander still nodded, "Yes."
