Chapter 135

She activated the hacking system on her phone.

Once the software loaded, a message popped up: [Hello, esteemed M.]

The Trojan they planted in the Tudor Group was being cracked, already 60% done.

Elizabeth stroked her chin, watching the progress bar move.

In less than twenty minutes, it would be fully cracked.

Alexander's team was good; they were actually cracking her Trojan.

The Tudor Group had evacuated its entrance. An emergency notice gave everyone a half-day off, with work resuming in the afternoon.

The internal group chat was chaotic. Everyone wondered if things would be fine by the afternoon.

Employee A: [Our security system is so strong. How could someone exploit it?]

Employee B: [Mr. Tudor must have offended someone!]

Even though the building had no power, whenever an employee swiped their badge, a taunting smiley face appeared.

Then, a person with a black avatar joined the chat.

G: [Work will resume in the afternoon. Any questions?]

Everyone fell silent. It was Alexander!

With Alexander stepping in, no one dared to question.

In a secret workshop, Alexander stood with his arms crossed, frowning at a wall of code.

"When will it be fixed?" he asked the young man typing away.

"About twenty minutes," the young man replied.

"Boss, who did you offend? This Trojan isn't amateur work," the young man asked while cracking the code.

Alexander glanced at him, frowning. "Who do you think did it?"

"A professional hacker. These codes are interlinked. If one part fails, the whole thing fails and has to be restarted! Plus, this Trojan only gives two chances to crack it."

Alexander's expression grew more serious. "What if we can't crack it in two tries?"

The young man smiled awkwardly. "Then we'll have to find the person who planted it and beg them to unlock it."

Alexander said coldly, "If you don't want to beg, crack it quickly."

The young man gave a sheepish smile. Of course, he didn't want to! He was a hacker; if he couldn't crack a Trojan and had to beg, it would be humiliating!

Alexander looked at the messages from various employees on his phone and felt annoyed. He slammed his right hand on the leather chair. 'Who could it be?'

Just as Alexander was about to leave, the young man suddenly called out, "Boss, bad news."

Alexander turned around, frowning. "What now?"

"The person has strengthened the firewall, so I have to start cracking it all over again!" The young man looked distressed.

Alexander fell silent.

"How much longer?" he asked.

"Not sure," the young man replied, looking grim.

Alexander irritably slammed the table and glared at the young man. "Anyway, solve it quickly. The company had to be operating by the afternoon. Understood?"

The young man nodded, trembling.

In the hospital, Elizabeth had just re-customized the Trojan and sent it over. Seeing the progress bar reach 100%, she smiled devilishly and clapped her hands.

She thought, 'Alexander, you brought this on yourself. Now you'll know what it's like to be tormented. Suffer and endure it!'

Just as Elizabeth was gloating, her phone received a new report from a journalist.

#Last night, Alexander and Elizabeth were spotted at a restaurant. They kissed all the way to the car, showing their affection!#

Seeing the media report, Elizabeth was speechless..
