Chapter 137

Amanda stepped out of the ward and immediately noticed Elizabeth acting weird. She coughed and said, "Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth paused, meeting Amanda's curious gaze, then look at her onw awkward posture. She fell silent.

Elizabeth had been busy all morning and finally got a break around noon.

She pulled out her phone and checked her hacker system. Her Trojan horse had been cracked!

Elizabeth quickly looked up the Tudor Group, which was running smoothly.

'Who's this hacker? He has skills,' she thought.

Just as Elizabeth was pondering her next move, Felix sent a message: [Boss, M Base got hacked. It was Alexander's guy.]

Elizabeth almost spat out her water when she saw the message.

Felix: [The hacker even left a message saying 'Not so impressive.']

Elizabeth: [He's that cocky? Isn't this a challenge?]

Felix: [I dug into it. The hacker's code name is Venom, Alexander's personal hacker. He maintains the Tudor Group's security. His skills match Oliver Percy's. After our recent hits on the Tudor Group, it's gonna be tough to mess with them again.]

Elizabeth read Felix's message with a cold look.

'Tough? Then skip the Tudor Group. Go straight for Alexander!' she pondered.

Elizabeth: [Can't you plant a Trojan horse on Alexander's phone?]

Felix: [Boss, we should think this through.]

Elizabeth: [Just do it.]

Later that evening, at the Tudor family villa.

Elizabeth was in the kitchen helping Lily with various tasks.

Lily pushed her away. "Elizabeth, you don't need to help here. Just relax! Dinner's almost ready!"

Elizabeth walked out of the kitchen and sighed deeply.

As she turned, she saw Alexander by the floor-to-ceiling window, talking on the phone.

Alexander, in a black suit, looked striking with his tall frame and slim waist.

Maybe Elizabeth's stare was too intense because he suddenly turned and met her eyes.

Elizabeth looked away but heard him say, "Find this person and bring him to me. I'll handle it myself!" His voice was cold and tired. "Anyway, just find this person! Do you know how much the Tudor Group lost this morning because of him?"

Alexander's tone grew more irritable and angry. "Cutting off one of his fingers wouldn't be too much!"

Elizabeth thought, 'Cutting off fingers? Aright, I need to get insurance for Felix's fingers. Given how skilled Alexander's hacker is, hacking Alexander's phone should be off the table for now!'

Elizabeth pulled out her phone to message Felix to reconsider the Trojan horse plan.

Before she could finish typing, she got a message from Felix.

Felix: [Boss! Done! In three minutes, Alexander's phone will be dead!]

Elizabeth was speechless. 'Felix! You never worked this fast before. Why so quick today?'

Elizabeth: [Can we retract it now?]

Felix: [No way.]

Elizabeth: [Make sure to get insurance for your fingers.]

Felix thought for a moment, 'Elizabeth must think I did a great job! My hardworking hands definitely need some insurance!'
