Chapter 963

Ivan walked over from a short distance and stopped beside Elizabeth.

"How have you been lately?"

Ivan's voice was as gentle as ever.

But Elizabeth was gradually losing her feelings for Ivan.

When Ivan first appeared, he came on strong, and she had to admit, she was a bit shaken.

She questioned whether her heart still had the energy to like someone else.

But now, all she felt was calm.

"Pretty good, how about you, Mr. Shawn?" she asked.

Ivan smiled, "I'm not doing so well."

Elizabeth said, "I see a smile in your eyes, Mr. Shawn. It doesn't seem like you're not doing well."

Ivan replied, "What's wrong with smiling even when life isn't going well?"

Elizabeth became interested.

She crossed her arms and asked Ivan, "What's not going well? Maybe if you tell me, I can have a laugh too?"

Ivan looked at Elizabeth, his eyes somewhat complicated.

Ivan lowered his gaze, remaining silent.

Elizabeth wasn't in a hurry; she just waited quietly for Ivan to speak.

"The person I like is so cold to me," he suddenly said.

Elizabeth tilted her head, "Are you talking about me?"

"Yes, I'm talking about you," he nodded.

Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh, "Then you should get someone else to like. I'm not worth it."

"Elizabeth, why didn't you get someone else to like back then? Why did you have to like Alexander?"

"You don't understand. My kind of liking had already turned into an obsession." That wasn't just liking.

It was truly an obsession, to the point where no one else would do.

On stage, Alexander glanced over and saw Elizabeth chatting with Ivan.

Nolan could tell Alexander was distracted. He followed Alexander's gaze several times, and it was always Elizabeth.

Alexander hadn't been to the office for many days. Now that he was back to give the annual summary, it was no wonder his mind wasn't on the meeting.

"We can't keep talking. Otherwise, Alexander on stage won't be able to finish his summary," Elizabeth said to Ivan, half-laughing, half-crying.

The man on stage was already starting to speak in broken sentences.

Everyone's eyes were beginning to drift towards her.

If she kept talking, Alexander might call her name directly from the stage.

Ivan also looked towards the stage.

Alexander glanced at him, his eyes indescribably cold.

Ivan sighed, "So, are you planning to remarry Alexander?"

"I wouldn't call it remarrying. I just want to give myself another chance to love, and give him a chance too."

The three-month period had just begun.

Whether they would remarry or truly cut ties, no one could say.

It depended on whether Elizabeth was ruthless enough and whether Alexander was sincere.

"Giving him a chance means you still have plans to remarry, right?" Ivan's eyes gradually darkened.

Elizabeth looked at Ivan, smiling slightly, very calmly, very openly, "Ivan, you're great, but we're really not suitable for each other. We can't be together."

"Ivan, I sincerely wish you happiness. I hope you find someone you love who loves you back soon."

This was Elizabeth's best blessing for Ivan.

But Ivan didn't accept this blessing.

"What if I only want you?"

"Ivan, I'm rejecting you."
