Chapter 1125
"Mr. Hagen has another identity; he is a bodyguard for a mob boss in Dream City."
That was why Quincy stormed into Valentin's house alone, trying to trade one life for another.
After his wife died, Quincy never stopped thinking about avenging her.
Later, as Aubrey grew up, Quincy had to settle down. He wanted to create a good environment for his son to grow up healthy. So Quincy brought Aubrey to Lisbun.
The last time Alexander and Elizabeth saw Quincy barely alive in the hospital stairwell was because Valentin's men had secretly stabbed him.
Alexander didn't expect that the next time he saw Quincy, it would be because Valentin had kidnapped him here.
Valentin really was a scourge.
People like Valentin deserved to die.
"We will rescue them all," Winford said.
Alexander's phone suddenly rang.
It was an unfamiliar number.
Alexander quickly recognized it as Valentin's number.
On his way here, the police had already cracked his IP address, and it matched this location.
Alexander composed himself and answered the call under Winford's watchful eye.
"You're outside," the man said, straightforwardly.
Alexander replied, "I'm outside."
"I'll have someone bring you in."
Alexander's voice was clear, "What do you want?"
"I don't want anything. Ms. Percy once humiliated me in Dream City, and I just want to humiliate her back. And since you're her man, I can't help but want you to see how I humiliate her." Valentin's voice was gentle, but his expression was extremely sinister.
From Elizabeth's perspective, this man was as twisted as could be.
"Don't provoke me," Alexander's voice grew colder, "Dream City may be your turf, but now we're in Lisbun."
"So what if it's Lisbun? Stop using it to pressure me!" Valentin snapped.
Valentin hated hearing that the most.
Yet Alexander and Elizabeth kept bringing it up!
Suddenly, the warehouse door opened.
Alexander's face was illuminated by the bright light inside.
Five people emerged, one standing in front, and the other four holding guns behind him.
Alexander saw the empty warehouse. There was nothing inside, and Elizabeth was tied up at the back of the warehouse.
"Mr. Tudor, please come in," the man prompted Alexander.
Alexander followed him inside alone.
In the car, Winford immediately tapped his earpiece, "Oliver, Mr. Tudor went into the warehouse alone. Follow Alexander with the drone. Inform us immediately if anything goes wrong."
"Oliver, can you see if there are any other people around? If we go in now and take out those five, what will happen?" Winford asked.
Oliver quickly scanned the surroundings, "I can only see those five for now, but if you make too much noise, it will alert those inside. Also, I noticed they have drones patrolling as well."
"I've jammed their signal a bit, but it's not very effective. I still don't recommend a direct assault. If possible, going over the back wall would be best," Oliver said quietly.
Winford sighed, "You're making us climb walls again."
"Since we're rescuing the Boss, we need to be cautious. Climbing the wall it is! I even saw a dog hole I didn't make you crawl through," Oliver smirked.
Winford groaned, "Shit."
Oliver chuckled, "Why the attitude? Hurry up, go to the point I marked at the back! We can't let the Boss get assaulted in there!"
