The competition ended at 2 AM.
Everyone was pumped up because of Steve's arrival.
Steve exited secretly through a side path, but everyone knew that the woman just now was Steve.
Even though the competition was over, many people hadn't left just to catch a glimpse of Steve!
As soon as it ended, Elizabeth was taken to an employee workspace by Felix and Callum.
The stands were still packed with people, so they couldn't go out yet. Elizabeth was too conspicuous; if she went out, she would be easily noticed.
She had to hide for now.
There was no other way; people with hidden identities had to do things secretly. They might look cool, but they had to sneak around a lot.
"Boss, wasn't today awesome?" Felix was still watching videos on his phone. He had recorded many exciting moments during Elizabeth's race.
When he got back, he planned to post some highlights on Base M.
"Happy. I almost got my real identity discovered." Elizabeth couldn't help but feel melancholic when she thought of the way Alexander had looked at her several times.
To avoid Alexander's suspicion, she even took a puff of a cigarette.
She still felt like she reeked of smoke, which was disgusting.
Callum came in from outside and told Elizabeth, "The person in charge said they're clearing the area. Wait another ten minutes, and then we'll drive your car to the door. You can leave directly."
Elizabeth nodded.
"I'll go take another look around, just in case that person gets suspicious," Callum said.
Callum was quite cautious.
The "that person" he referred to was, of course, Alexander.
Felix nodded, signaling him to go.
Elizabeth scratched her head and looked around the employee workspace. It was clean and had everything.
The right wall was lined with helmets of various styles, all very cool.

Elizabeth laughed at her, "So cheesy!"
"What? You called me 'sweetie' yesterday, and now you say it's cheesy! Elizabeth, you've changed!"
"Elizabeth, do you not want me anymore now that you have Alexander?"
Just as Elizabeth was about to speak, there was a knock on the door.
Elizabeth got up, thinking it was Callum or Felix returning.
She walked over and opened the door.
When she saw who was outside, Elizabeth froze.

A hand stopped the door from closing.
