Chapter 985
Alexander was about to kill him.
Kieran chuckled.
Alexander said, "Annoying."
"We've been friends since we were kids, it's not like you just met me today." Kieran walked over, placing a hand on Alexander's shoulder, and lazily yawned.
The competition on the field was intense, and before they knew it, several laps had been completed.
Alexander looked at the big screen; there was still a challenge match. That meant Steve hadn't gone on yet.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Alexander took out his phone; it was Lily.
He turned to take the call, and Lily asked, "Why are you still up so late?"
"Grandma, I'm free tonight. Kieran and I came out to watch the race. What's up?"
Alexander walked to a quiet place, the surroundings silent.
On the other end, Lily sighed, "Alexander, I miss you. When will you come to see me?"
"Grandma, you miss me?" Alexander smiled faintly.
"Of course I miss you. Who else would I miss?"
Alexander pressed his lips together, "You miss Elizabeth, don't you?"
There was silence on Lily's end.
Alexander knew that Lily missed Elizabeth and wanted him to bring Elizabeth to see her.
"I heard you two went to the annual party last night. Are you cool?"
Alexander responded, "It's okay."
At least they weren't at each other's throats like before.
Lily immediately said, "Then bring her to see me more often."
"Got it. If Elizabeth has time, I'll bring her to see you. But if she's busy, let's not bother her, okay?"
Alexander's tone was gentle, his voice very soft.
Lily was coaxed into happiness, "Okay, okay, okay!"
After hanging up, Alexander shook his head helplessly.
Everyone in the Tudor family was anxious about whether he could win Elizabeth back.
In fact, he was anxious too.
Just then, the crowd suddenly erupted.
Alexander looked towards the race track; he was standing in the stands.
"Fuck! Steve, it's Steve coming out!"
"Did you see her start just now? So cool, so cool!"
"Her speed is insane. She hasn't shown up in so long, how is she still so strong, so capable? She's a demon!"
Alexander frowned, his gaze shifting to the big screen amidst the crowd's discussions.
Defender: Steve.
The purple race car stopped neatly at the white line, and all the cameras zoomed in, trying to see the face of the person in the car.
"Fuck! Look at her clothes!"
"Isn't that the woman who was smoking earlier?"
"Fuck! Isn't that the woman who claimed to be Steve at the test track? No way, she's for real, she really is!"
The crowd was in an uproar.
At the sound of a whistle, her car sped off on the track again.
Everyone's eyes were glued to the purple race car.
Alexander descended from the stands.
Kieran was cheering, "Fuck, Alexander! It's really Steve, she's amazing!"
"She's so fast. Fuck! How can a woman be this cool!"
Kieran was watching with excitement.
Alexander frowned, his expression complicated.
