Chapter 907

Rose stopped in her tracks, glaring at Declan with growing anger in her eyes.

She walked over and punched Declan, "How are you talking to me? What do you mean by that? Do you need a beating or something? There is a guest here, and look how arrogant you get. Have you forgotten who calls the shots in this house?"

Rose's voice was loud. Elizabeth could hear it from the living room.

She looked up towards the kitchen, but it was too far to see what was happening.

"Are they fighting?" Alexander asked softly.

Elizabeth shook her head.

Her parents rarely fought; they never had disagreements. After all, living as a couple meant being mutually tolerant and considerate.

Elizabeth put away her phone and got up to go to the kitchen.

She saw Declan cooking while trying to appease Rose, "Alright, alright. It was my fault, okay?"

"I've already admitted I was wrong, isn't that enough?"

"Am I really that fierce? How am I fierce?"

Elizabeth was displeased. As expected, she knew her parents were just showing off their affection.

She turned to leave.

Rose called out, "Elizabeth, come here."

Elizabeth stopped and looked at Rose obediently, "What's up?"

"Did you sleep at Alexander's place again last night?"

"Nothing happened between us. It was just too late, and the traffic was bad, so I couldn't get back." Elizabeth explained to Rose again.

Rose snorted coldly, not believing the excuse. With transportation so convenient nowadays, what could possibly prevent her from coming back?

It was just a matter of whether Elizabeth really wanted to come back!

"Alright, I'm going to the living room." Elizabeth headed to the living room.

Rose soon followed; she had something to discuss with Elizabeth.

Rose smiled at Alexander, feeling a bit reserved in front of him.

"Mr. Tudor, not busy lately?" she asked politely.

Alexander immediately responded, "You can just call me—"

"Given your status, I should still call you Mr. Tudor," Rose interrupted him.

Alexander didn't correct her again and just nodded.

"I'm not busy lately; my assistant is managing the company," he said.

Rose was surprised, "Such a big company, and an assistant can handle it? You don't need to be there?"

"No," Alexander shook his head.

Rose didn't say anything more.

She sat down and said to Elizabeth, "Take a look at my latest designs, what do you think?"

Elizabeth grabbed a box of chips. She was very casual at home, not reserved at all.

She leaned against Rose, completely like a little kid. If they were outside, Alexander probably would never have seen such a relaxed and lazy Elizabeth in his lifetime.

"Mom, this one looks good." Elizabeth pointed to a red dress, "It's very suitable for young girls, very pretty."

"What do you think of this one? Isn't it perfect for you?" Rose flipped to the next red dress.

That red dress was more distinctive, very simple, which meant it required a model with a great figure and presence.

"Mom thinks it's especially suitable for you. How about wearing this for New Year's Eve?" she asked Elizabeth with a smile.

Elizabeth looked at Rose.

"Are you giving me permission to wear it?"

"Yes, I am. But I hope you can model it for me, help me showcase this dress, how about it?" she asked.

In Rose's world, Elizabeth was the most beautiful girl in the world.

Elizabeth, the most beautiful, with a perfect figure.

Many of Rose's design inspirations came from Elizabeth.

If Elizabeth could wear Rose's designs on the runway, how perfect would that be?

"Before the end of the year, I'm going to hold a personal runway show. Elizabeth, Mom is formally inviting you to be my model. How about it?"

With that, Rose took an invitation out of her pocket and handed it to Elizabeth.

This wasn't a spur-of-the-moment idea; it had been planned for a long time!
