Chapter 1049
"Leave now, I'll call you if I need anything," Alexander said indifferently. The lighting in the private room was dim, and he sat alone by the window, exuding an indescribable air of aloofness and nobility.
Someone outside the door peeked in and saw Alexander sitting on the sofa. She quickly told the girl next to her, "It's really Alexander, the tycoon from Lisbun."
"Is he as hot as they say?" someone asked eagerly.
Totally gorgeous," she replied. "I can't see his face clearly, but just his profile... wow. And that voice! To die for."
Suddenly, the door to the private room swung shut.
The women's chatter instantly fell silent.
The boss took a sharp breath and instructed the person next to him, "Take good care of the guests in this room. If anything goes wrong, I'll hold you accountable!"
After saying that, the boss left.
The girls looked at each other, and someone sighed, "If anyone could win over Alexander, they'd be set for life."
"Forget about winning him over, even if he just casually rewards us with something, it would be enough to set us for life," someone passing by said with a cold sneer.
Everyone followed that gaze. It was a woman with an exceptionally good figure, graceful and elegant. She had curly hair and wore high heels, speaking in a lazy and indifferent tone, looking very arrogant and haughty.
Bronte Langley slightly turned her head, and everyone obediently called out, "Bronte."
Bronte nodded and said indifferently, "Don't just stand around here, get to work. The guests in this room didn't come for us."
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded immediately and hurried off to work.
Bronte watched the crowd disperse, glanced at the private room again with a deep look, and then went off to work.
Downstairs in the booth, Elizabeth didn't want to drink, so she went to the dance floor to dance.
Lila was sitting alone, browsing Facebook. Her agent messaged her, telling her to drink less and to be mindful of her image while out.
Lila was replying perfunctorily.
When she looked up, she saw Elizabeth shining in the center of the dance floor, with all the men's eyes practically glued to her.
Lila raised an eyebrow and was about to close Facebook when she saw Kieran's earlier reply.
She hadn't replied to Kieran yet.
Lila couldn't help but look around the booth.
There was no one familiar on the first floor. If she followed the direction Elizabeth had looked earlier, it should be the staircase.
Lila looked up to the second floor, which wasn't very crowded.
The third floor.
Behind a transparent glass, Lila seemed to see that familiar figure.
Soon, the figure turned its back to her and went to drink with someone, looking very calm.
Lila couldn't be bothered and went to the center of the dance floor to join Elizabeth.
Their presence made the whole place lively.
Everyone whistled around them, and the DJ got more enthusiastic, speeding up the music.
Alexander couldn't sit still. He stood up, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a glass, coldly watching the joyful Elizabeth in the center of the dance floor.
Was she having that much fun?
She left him alone in Lisbun and came here to have such a carefree time.
How infuriating!
"By the way, Alexander, you should drink less," Kieran tried to take the glass from Alexander's hand, but found that Alexander was gripping it tightly.
