Chapter 1065
Elizabeth had silently followed Alexander for those years, and he had never thought of letting her catch up and walk alongside him.
Perhaps it was for this reason that she only dared to follow behind him.
In the quiet, Alexander suddenly asked, "Would you like an ice cream cone?"
It was then that Elizabeth noticed a dessert shop nearby.
Elizabeth initially wanted to say no.
But she looked at Alexander and nodded instead.
Fine, she would give him a chance to reveal himself.
That was how women were, always considerate and soft-hearted.
But men were not.
Alexander didn't like sweets.
But today, he bought two, one for Elizabeth and one for himself.
Elizabeth was particularly surprised.
"Let's take a photo," Elizabeth tugged at Alexander.
Alexander was puzzled.
"It's rare to see you eating an ice cream cone," Elizabeth couldn't help but tease him.
Alexander looked down at the ice cream cone in his hand and mumbled, "Oh," saying, "I'm just experiencing what makes you happy."
Elizabeth raised her phone, placing the ice cream cone near her mouth. She was so radiant and beautiful that even someone as handsome as Alexander could only serve as a backdrop beside her.
Alexander slightly lowered his eyes to look at Elizabeth. The two were so close that his breath could touch her face.
"Is it good?" She looked up and met his intense gaze.
Alexander hadn't eaten yet, but hearing her question, he tasted it with interest.
Not bad.
"I can try it more often in the future," he replied.
Elizabeth smiled, "You can try different flavors."
"Then please take me to try more," Alexander said seriously.
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow, "No problem, welcome to my world."
For a moment, Alexander thought Elizabeth had accepted him.
But that was enough; he wasn't greedy.
"Should I thank you then?"
"You're welcome, I'm very generous," Elizabeth lazily smiled and walked alongside him.
This time, he didn't follow behind her but walked beside her.
Their shadows were cast on the ground, following them as they walked.
Such a scene was indeed rare.
Elizabeth cherished it especially.
They watched a performance and ate snacks. Elizabeth had so much fun that she forgot about Lila.
Lila had sent Elizabeth several messages, but Elizabeth hadn't seen them.
Compared to Elizabeth's comfort.
Lila's situation was evidently more complicated.
"Boss, I can't date. Our management wouldn't allow it, and neither would the fans."
"I didn't say I wanted to date you; I was just expressing my feelings."
Lila stopped and silently looked at Kieran, who was closely following her.
"Boss, what do you want me to say?"
The aura of a big star was still strong; she encountered fans every few steps despite her careful attempts to remain inconspicuous.
"You don't need to say anything," Kieran said seriously.
Lila looked at him. "So you're just... telling me that you like me. That's it?"
"Yes."
Lila was speechless. Fine, whatever.
"When you're ready to date, let me know," Kieran added.
