Chapter 149
Elizabeth sped down the road in her purple Pagani.
Twenty minutes later, Elizabeth faced Alexander.
Alexander ate breakfast with an air of nobility. Elizabeth rolled her eyes internally.
Nolan, standing by Alexander, nodded at Elizabeth. "Mrs. Tudor, please sit."
Elizabeth was about to sit when Alexander coldly said, "Who allowed her to sit?"
Elizabeth and Nolan exchanged glances. Nolan apologized, "Mr. Tudor, I'll wait outside."
Better to leave than risk saying more.
Elizabeth watched Nolan leave, then looked at Alexander, sitting down without hesitation.
She thought, 'I'll sit where I want! My coming here doesn't mean I'm afraid of Alexander!'
Alexander frowned, glaring at her. "Did I tell you to sit?"
"Then why did you call me here, to watch you eat?" Elizabeth shot back.
For a moment, Alexander thought she had a point but quickly regained his composure。 "Elizabeth, I called you to settle accounts, not for breakfast!"
Elizabeth replied, "Isn't breakfast just a side thing?"
She reached for the fried crab claws.
Alexander slapped her hand away.
Elizabeth sighed, "Fine. I won't eat, okay?"
She rubbed her hand, looking at Alexander with dissatisfaction. In her mind, she called him stingy.
Alexander laughed in anger. "You spent money to hack my company and phone, and you still have an attitude?" he questioned.
Elizabeth lowered her head, rubbing her hand.
"Five million dollars to hack my building." Alexander asked, "Elizabeth, did your money come from the wind?"
Elizabeth glanced at him, "Didn't you say you'd give me half of the Tudor Group's assets? Isn't that like money from the wind?"
She had a lot of assets without effort; how was that different?
Alexander was speechless!
He tightened his grip on the cutlery and slammed it on the table.
The food shook, and Elizabeth swallowed.
She was so hungry.
But Alexander noticed she was staring at the food, not him, even more furious.
"Elizabeth, you'll be responsible for the Tudor Group's losses!" he shouted.
Elizabeth nodded. "Fine, just deduct it from the shares you gave me."
Alexander almost choked.
Was she doing this on purpose?
"Elizabeth!" he called through gritted teeth.
Elizabeth stood up straight, looking obedient. "What?"
Alexander had to admit, she had really gotten to him.
How had he not noticed before that she was so infuriating?
"Alright, it's not a big deal. Don't be mad." Elizabeth rubbed her stomach and said, "This is my fault for not considering it thoroughly. I just wanted to teach you a lesson, but I didn't expect things to get out of hand. Please accept my apology!"
Then she bent down and, in a serious tone, threatened, "You better agree. Or I might do it again."
Alexander felt both shocked and confused.
