Chapter 927

"I'm really happy to see everyone again. I heard many people are doing really well now. I'm so envious," Elizabeth said with a smile as she took off her fur coat.

Just as she was about to hang up her coat, a woman stepped forward to help. She reached out, indicating she would hang it up for her.

Elizabeth squinted.

They were all classmates; this didn't feel right.

"I'll do it myself," Elizabeth declined and hung up the coat herself.

The woman looked a bit embarrassed, and someone nearby laughed.

"Such a suck-up."

"Exactly."

The woman's expression instantly turned awkward. She was just trying to be polite by helping Elizabeth with her coat.

Elizabeth sensed something was off. She pressed her lips together and said to the woman, "Don't overthink it. I just feel that we're all classmates and equals. It wouldn't be right for you to hang my coat."

The woman immediately looked at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth nodded seriously, "Really, I'm not lying."

The woman exclaimed, "Elizabeth, I'm Giselle Montague."

Giselle?

Elizabeth thought for a moment and nodded, "I remember, you were in the dorm next to ours."

"Yes. We had meals together many times. Thank you for remembering me."

Giselle spoke softly and gently.

Elizabeth felt a bit helpless listening to her.

"We have no boundaries. Don't say things like that; we're all equals," Elizabeth said, patting her on the shoulder just as Thalia walked over.

"Elizabeth, I thought you weren't coming today," Thalia said with a smile.

Elizabeth shrugged, "Didn't I reply to your message saying I would come?"

"But Delbert kept saying you wouldn't come!"

Delbert?

Elizabeth then noticed the sullen Delbert by the window.

Of course, Delbert was upset. When he invited Elizabeth at the hospital, she said she wouldn't come.

So why did she come when Thalia invited her?

Elizabeth laughed. "Delbert, are you mad?"

Delbert crossed his arms, "Why would I be mad? I'm just a bit embarrassed!"

Elizabeth poured a glass of water and clinked glasses with Delbert, "Alright, let's put this behind us."

Everyone watched, curious to see if Delbert would stand up to Elizabeth.

If Delbert had any guts, he would ignore Elizabeth.

But in the end, they didn't see that. Instead, they saw Delbert raise his glass and clink it with Elizabeth's.

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow, looking at Delbert with interest.

Delbert smiled, "Alright, I was just joking."

Elizabeth smiled.

But Delbert quickly asked, "Didn't you bring Mr. Tudor?"

As soon as he said that, the room erupted.

Everyone was curious, "Elizabeth, what's going on with you and Alexander? Are you remarried now?"

"You probably haven't remarried yet, right? If you had, the media would have caught wind of it."

Elizabeth saw the eager curiosity in their eyes.

They were really interested in her marriage.

"Mr. Tudor and I are just friends now," Elizabeth replied.

Immediately, someone said, "But you've been seen going in and out of Alexander's house late at night many times. Just friends?"
