Chapter 1009

The woman frowned and remained silent.

Alexander, calm and composed, said, "If you don't want to make a big deal out of this, apologize now. If you refuse, I'll have to involve the police."

He was naturally impatient. The fact that he was speaking so calmly was an effort to leave a good impression in front of Grant and Celine.

In the past, when he encountered such situations, he wouldn't even glance at them and would directly have Nolan take them to the police station.

"Who are you?" The woman glared at Alexander.

Some people were just different from ordinary folks. The aura around him gave off an air of arrogance.

"Why do you care who I am?" Alexander frowned, growing more impatient.

He took out his phone and directly called Nolan, speaking in a cold tone, "There's a store selling drawing paper next to the supermarket on Maplewood Lane. Conduct a routine inspection and shut it down."

The woman panicked upon hearing this.

"On what grounds are you shutting down my store?"

"Aren't you the one asking me to shut it down?" Alexander looked at her in confusion.

"I'm just fulfilling your unreasonable request."

Alexander glanced at Grant and Celine. Both of them were clearly infuriated.

Even worse was the elderly gentleman who had been pushed to the ground by the female shop owner.

The old man was holding his elbow, looking injured, his face flushed red.

He just had some hearing issues and asked a few more questions, being a bit naggy. For that, he was directly pushed to the ground.

"He's so old. If he gets seriously hurt, can you take responsibility? Running a service business like this, shutting down for rectification is very necessary."

The woman, annoyed, said, "Who exactly are you? You think you can shut down my store just because you say so?"

After saying this, the woman sat on the ground, ready to make a scene, "Someone come and see this! I'm being bullied! It's not easy for a woman to run a store!"

It was the first time Alexander had encountered someone like this, truly making a scene to the extreme!

Celine was about to explode with anger. Although she had seen all kinds of people over the years, she had never encountered someone like this.

Just as the woman finished speaking, the store manager, dressed in black with an armband, arrived.

The woman, seeing a glimmer of hope, quickly stood up and shouted, "Daron Bales. Come and handle this!"

The man leading the group was Daron. The woman grabbed his arm, and he awkwardly pushed her away, signaling her to stop making a scene.

The woman couldn't catch Daron's hint and continued to cry out, "So many people are bullying me alone, and now they even threaten to shut down my store!"

Daron's face grew increasingly grim.

He looked at Alexander, feeling truly embarrassed, as the woman was practically hanging onto him.

Alexander seemed to understand something.

Daron must have taken care of this woman quite a bit; otherwise, how would she dare to be so arrogant here?

Daron pushed the woman away.

The woman fell to the ground, crying and shouting, "What do you mean by this!"

Daron approached Alexander, clasped his hands together, bowed respectfully, and said, "Mr. Tudor!"

Alexander raised his hand, signaling Daron to stand up.
