Chapter 924

Lila looked absolutely stunning tonight. She wore a golden, high-fashion, custom-made wrap dress, with her curls cascading down her back. As she walked forward, the camera zoomed in, capturing her graceful posture.

Elizabeth was frantically taking screenshots, every frame was beautiful. Lila was simply perfect.

The live chat was going wild for her, and she was topping the trending charts. How could anyone not like Lila?!

Elizabeth looked up just as Alexander hung up the phone.

In that moment of eye contact, Elizabeth's desire to share overflowed.

She pointed her phone screen at Alexander and asked, "Isn't she beautiful?"

The atmosphere suddenly became a bit awkward.

Elizabeth sat there, looking up at him with a face full of anticipation.

He stood in front of her, looking at her with a puzzled expression.

The scene suddenly seemed a bit comical.

Alexander was a bit confused.

Was she really asking for his heartfelt answer?

Testing him?

He didn't get it.

"I'm asking you, hurry up, or she'll be off-screen soon!" Elizabeth got anxious. She stood up, came over to Alexander, and watched with him.

Alexander didn't know how to respond.

He didn't even know if he should be looking at the screen.

"Lila is so beautiful, how can anyone be this good-looking?" Elizabeth pouted, unable to help but marvel.

Alexander looked at her, raised an eyebrow, and said, "There is, you."

Elizabeth immediately glared at him, "Am I prettier than Lila?"

"Yes."

Elizabeth gave Alexander a sidelong glance, dissatisfied.

Alexander was confused.

What did she mean?

When Elizabeth looked back at the screen, Lila was already off-stage.

Elizabeth sat down, about to turn off the live stream. Unexpectedly, Natalia was up next.

Natalia's outfit today was very sexy, paired with Tears of Snow, giving off an indescribable vibe.

Natalia's appearance wasn't bad.

Although she wasn't Charles's biological daughter, Natalia's behavior and looks were increasingly resembling Charles's.

No one would believe they weren't related by blood.

Elizabeth propped her face up, taking a while before turning off the live stream. She opened Facebook and started bragging about Lila's photos, endlessly praising her.

Alexander handed her a glass of water, "So you were seriously asking me if Lila is beautiful?"

"Otherwise, did you think I was joking?" Elizabeth had no such intention.

Then his answer remained the same.

"You are beautiful."

"Is it because Lila always scolds you, so..."

"Elizabeth." Alexander frowned, directly interrupting her.

Elizabeth wisely shut her mouth.

It was dark outside, and Elizabeth yawned, "I'm heading back."

Alexander suddenly said, "Tomorrow is New Year's Eve."

"So?" Elizabeth looked at him.

"Do you want to go out with me?" he asked.

Elizabeth frowned, picking up her favorite music box from the floor, "Mr. Tudor, you never celebrate New Year's Eve, do you?"

"That was before."

"Now you have New Year's Eve plans?"

Alexander straightforwardly said, "If I'm with you, I'll go."

Elizabeth shrugged, "Then you better not go, I'm busy."

"Going out at night isn't the same as during the day, what are you busy with? Do you have plans at night?" he walked over.

If Elizabeth had plans at night, he'd be even more jealous.

After all, he was the ex-husband, didn't he have the priority to ask her out?

"Mind your own business." Elizabeth was about to grab her coat.

Alexander grabbed the coat first. He glared at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth glared back, what was he doing?

"Give me the coat." She reached out.

Alexander stepped back, "Tell me where you're going tomorrow?"

"Alexander, don't overstep. Where I go is my freedom, I don't need to report to you!" Elizabeth frowned, her tone displeased.

"I..." Alexander moved his lips, not knowing what to say for a moment.

As soon as she said he was overstepping, he had no way to counter.

Elizabeth took the coat.

Alexander pursed his lips, just standing there.
