Chapter 1151
In the past, Alexander had passively accepted everything Beth did for him.
Now he realized that true love meant not being able to stand seeing her cry or hearing her say anything negative about herself.
He wanted to give her the very best of everything, to make her the happiest woman in the world, and to be someone she could be proud of.
After all, a man his woman bragged about was a man who was doing something right.
Alexander gently hugged Elizabeth and said tenderly, "Let me be the one taking care of you from now on."
"How long will that last?" Elizabeth asked softly.
He lowered his eyes and answered seriously, "For as long as I'm breathing."
Elizabeth smiled.
That was all she needed to hear.
"What have you been busy with lately?" Alexander asked her.
"I want to open a studio."
"Design?"
"Yeah. You already know that, don't you?"
"I only found out from the news, bits and pieces, and not complete. My fiancée wants to start a business, and I didn't even know." He sighed deeply, indicating how much of a failure he felt.
Elizabeth laughed, "I want to open a jewelry design studio, and I will be the chief designer."
"Can you design? Or are you going to hire people to join your team and create a brand?"
Elizabeth looked serious, "Alexander, haven't you always asked me if I know Kennedy?"
Alexander nodded, then he looked up, "Wait a minute."
Elizabeth smiled, crossing her arms and raising her eyebrows at Alexander.
Alexander was stunned.
"You're Kennedy?" he was shocked.
Seeing Alexander so surprised, Elizabeth felt very satisfied.
"Yes, I am Kennedy, the one who designed 'Snow and Tears,' and whom you have tried countless times to invite to your company."
"So Mr. Tudor, when my studio opens, can my first business deal be with the Tudor Group?" Elizabeth smiled, throwing out her intention.
Alexander had always wanted to invite Kennedy but had never succeeded.
Now, Kennedy was offering herself.
Hopefully, Alexander wouldn't fail to appreciate it.
"Oh my God. What do you mean, 'can it be'? Of course, it can. It's the Tudor Group's honor."
"From now on, you will be a partner of the Tudor Group. I'll create a special section for you to build your brand! How about that?"
Elizabeth just smiled.
"What does that mean? Yes or no?" He tapped Elizabeth's head.
"Of course, yes."
"Great, now we can conquer the business world together."
Elizabeth loved this feeling of being evenly matched.
Watching him rise to the top wasn't impressive; meeting him at the peak was the real skill.
"What's the name of the studio?" Alexander asked.
"Kennedy Studio."
"Good, simple and straightforward. When is the opening?"
"May 8th."
"Will you invite a lot of people?"
"Yes, I will tell everyone that I am Kennedy."
"Elizabeth, you're going to become popular."
"What do you mean I'm going to become popular? I've always been popular."
"I'm lucky to become your husband."
"You're not yet, though."
"What, having second thoughts about me? Don't worry, I'm going to make something of myself."
"Are you trying to be charming right now?"
"Is it working?"
In the small hospital room, the two looked at each other, and after a while, they suddenly laughed.
The atmosphere felt perfect, everything falling into place.
Things were finally looking up.
Elizabeth was starting to embrace this new chapter of her life.
