Chapter 958

Rose held onto Declan's arm while Elizabeth walked behind them.

As soon as Elizabeth entered the hall, she was surrounded by reporters.

A microphone was thrust towards Elizabeth's mouth, and everyone eagerly asked, "Ms. Percy, what is your current relationship with Mr. Tudor?"

Elizabeth looked at the reporters in front of her, then glanced at Alexander not far away.

Alexander was dressed in a black suit, but his tie was not black; it was a deep red, which matched Elizabeth in an indescribable way.

Elizabeth was a bit surprised that his tie wasn't black. Alexander usually preferred black, as it was more plain and cool.

He must have chosen it to match her dress.

But she hadn't told Alexander what evening gown she would wear to the annual meeting.

"Ms. Percy, could you please answer our question?" The reporters pressed on.

Elizabeth had to look away. As she did, she caught a glimpse of Ivan out of the corner of her eye.

She hadn't seen Ivan for quite a few days.

Ivan's design company had been very busy recently, with him running around every day.

Elizabeth looked back at the media in front of her and said calmly, "Mr. Tudor and I are currently just friends."

"Thank you all for your concern about Mr. Tudor and me. Today is the Tudor Group's annual meeting, so I hope everyone will focus on the Tudor Group. You can ask Mr. Tudor about the general direction of his year-end summary or the Tudor Group's development plans for next year."

After speaking, Elizabeth nodded slightly, indicating that they could make way. She would not be accepting any more interviews.

Elizabeth's response was quite appropriate.

Declan and Rose exchanged a glance, both feeling nervous for Elizabeth.

The media was the hardest to deal with, but fortunately, Elizabeth managed to control the situation.

However, Alexander must have instructed the media not to ask too tricky questions.

Elizabeth walked out of the crowd, and everyone stepped back, making a path for her towards Alexander.

The reporters' cameras were aimed at their faces, eagerly anticipating capturing some headline-worthy photos.

"Mr. Tudor, I wish the annual meeting a great success," Elizabeth said as she extended her hand to Alexander, very formally and politely.

Alexander looked at her for a moment.

She showed no intention of withdrawing her hand. It seemed that if he didn't shake her hand, she would just stand there awkwardly.

Alexander had no choice but to shake her hand, "Thank you, Ms. Percy, for gracing us with your presence."

Was this the response she wanted to hear?

"Then tonight, I'll trouble you to bear with me, Ms. Percy," he said as he came to Elizabeth's side and bent his arm.

He indicated that Elizabeth could take his arm and enter the venue.

Nolan had already taken Declan and Rose to the waiting area.

Elizabeth was alone in the hall, with Alexander in front of her and Kieran and Ivan behind her.

Ivan showed no intention of stepping forward to greet her. After all, today was the Tudor Group's event.

Kieran felt a bit uneasy seeing Ivan standing by without making a move.

He was really afraid that these two would get serious over Elizabeth.

Alexander had a bad temper, and Ivan was inherently proud; he had to get what he wanted.

These two together were like a collision of Mars and Earth.

Elizabeth took Alexander's arm and smiled at him, "Mr. Tudor, you're joking. It's my pleasure to attend the Tudor Group's annual meeting with you. How could it be a burden for me?"

Elizabeth was good at saying the right things; it just depended on whether she wanted to say them.

Alexander looked at Elizabeth with great interest.
