Delbert nodded, signaling Elizabeth to stay and join them. But Elizabeth was indeed a bit tired, and it was almost 8 PM.

"If you come with me to the next place, I'll tell you. Isn't that perfect?" Thalia said with a smile.
Elizabeth squinted her eyes.
So, if she wanted to know, she had to follow Thalia to the next place?
Thalia shrugged, indicating that was exactly the case.
Elizabeth sighed, "Alright, I'll go with you. I can't help it; I'm too curious about the gossip you want to share."
Thalia chuckled lazily and took Elizabeth's hand, "Elizabeth, what I want to tell you definitely won't disappoint you."
"Is it about Alexander?" Elizabeth asked Thalia.
Thalia nodded.
"But Thalia, I don't seem to be that interested in Alexander's matters anymore."
"It's about Alexander, yes, but it's also about you. Elizabeth, you'll definitely be interested." With that, Thalia led Elizabeth away.
Elizabeth had driven herself, but she didn't bring a driver. Thalia had a driver, so Elizabeth's car was left there for now.
Night fell over the bar.
Tonight, Thalia had booked the place, and the classmates started to play recklessly as soon as they arrived.
Elizabeth pulled Thalia, wanting to get the secret out first. Without knowing, Elizabeth couldn't enjoy herself.

Elizabeth's face turned serious, "Thalia, are you going to keep using this to tempt me?"
Thalia could see Elizabeth was running out of patience.
This was indeed Elizabeth's temperament; back in college, she would get angry after just a few words. She was only the most patient in front of Esme.
With Esme, it was always Esme who got angry, and Elizabeth would coax her.
So when the news came out that Esme and Alexander were together, everyone thought Alexander must be crazy. Esme must be crazy.
Elizabeth was so good to Esme, yet Esme stole Elizabeth's boyfriend.
Elizabeth was better than Esme in every way, yet Alexander chose Esme.
The world was too crazy.
"Alright, Elizabeth, I'll tell you!" Thalia sat in front of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth frowned, listening to Thalia say, "Elizabeth, Alexander never truly liked Esme; it was always you."
She didn't expect Thalia to say that.
"Do you know why I say this? Because I heard Alexander say it himself, he quit smoking for you."
"Elizabeth, you never liked people smoking around you, right? Before Esme and Alexander got together, one day I went to Lisbun University's finance department with a friend to meet someone, and I happened to see Alexander with his friends. His friend offered him a cigarette, and he said he didn't smoke anymore."
"His friend asked Alexander why, do you know what Alexander said?"
Memories from college flooded back.
Hearing these words, Elizabeth felt surprisingly calm inside.
Because she had heard it before from Alexander.
