Chapter 750
Elizabeth's phone suddenly rang.
Elizabeth looked down and saw a string of unfamiliar numbers, which was from Lisbon.
She pressed the answer button, and before she could say anything, she heard someone shout, "Elizabeth, how dare you hurt Vincent!"
Elizabeth looked up.
Felix immediately glanced over. That voice—it was Esme!
Esme still dared to call Elizabeth?
"Why don't you ask Vincent what he was doing?" Elizabeth's tone was cold.
Esme gritted her teeth, "Elizabeth, no matter what Vincent did, what you did is unacceptable!"
"You really are protective. What, does your heart ache for him?" Elizabeth looked up, deliberately mocking.
Esme was momentarily speechless.
"That's right, after all, everyone loves their own dog, right?"
Elizabeth remembered that Esme had more than once, in front of Nolan, called him Alexander's dog, a loyal dog.
Nolan was good-tempered; every time Esme insulted him, he remained silent.
Anyone else would have slapped her right away.
He was Alexander's man, but not Esme's. What right did she have to say that?
"Esme, your dog is not worth mentioning. If you care so much about your dog, keep him hidden, don't let him show his face. Otherwise, I'll stab him every time I see him!"
Elizabeth's words were extremely harsh.
Even over the phone, Esme could see Elizabeth's face, gentle yet fierce!
Elizabeth was not someone who would show kindness to anyone; Esme knew Elizabeth well.
Elizabeth's good temper over the years was just for Alexander's sake.
Back in college, Elizabeth would start a fight with just two sentences.
People said Esme was arrogant, but Elizabeth was the truly arrogant one!
"Elizabeth, are you upset because I messed with Lily?" Esme's tone was sarcastic. "You keep saying you don't love Alexander anymore, but everything you do is still for the Tudor family."
"I say, Elizabeth, you are the Tudor family's loyal dog!" Esme's tone grew even more arrogant.
Elizabeth gripped her phone tightly, her breathing becoming heavy.
Felix and Oliver exchanged glances.
Callum looked at the data on his computer. Before Elizabeth could say anything else, the call was abruptly ended.
Elizabeth looked down; the call had been hung up from Esme's side.
What was going on?
Elizabeth turned her head and saw Callum typing code. This code had something to do with Esme's sudden hang-up.
He had hacked into Esme's phone, ended the call, and infected her phone with a virus. By now, Esme's phone should be blacked out.
It would take at least a year to fix, unless she got a new phone.
But if Esme dared to call Elizabeth again, he would hack her phone again.
If she wanted to challenge his authority, she could continue calling Elizabeth and saying those highly insulting things!
Felix clicked his tongue. No wonder Callum was so ruthless. Callum was always a man of few words, doing things without any warning or explanation.
"Disgusting, how can there be such a person?" Oliver felt sorry for Elizabeth.
Elizabeth remained silent.
She looked at the string of numbers on her phone, then put the phone in her pocket.
She was the Tudor family's dog?
The Tudor family was more like Elizabeth's dog now!
Elizabeth admitted that she used to be somewhat worthless.
But that Elizabeth would never appear again!
"There are three things I have to say, and then I'll leave," Elizabeth turned to the three of them.
The three immediately stood obediently.
"Have someone keep an eye on Lily. She's been transferred to a private hospital; I've already sent the address to your phone," Elizabeth said to Felix.
Felix nodded, "Got it."
