Chapter 864

Dream City Police Department.

This incident caused quite a stir, and many people were brought back to the police station.

The scene was chaotic for a while. When Elizabeth and Alexander came in, every officer was busy and had no time to pay attention to them.

Alexander noticed that Elizabeth looked particularly exhausted, so he found an empty seat for her to rest. He went inside to inquire about Zander and Gavin.

Elizabeth lowered her head, her clothes somewhat dirty and disheveled, but she was wearing Alexander's jacket.

She tugged at the hole in her clothes that had been burned by a cigarette, her eyes filled with disgust.

Thinking of Valentin's face made Elizabeth feel nauseous.

Men who used women as their playthings to find their own happiness deserved to die.

Elizabeth gritted her teeth, already thinking about how to kill Valentin!

If Alexander hadn't come today, Valentin wouldn't have let her go.

She might have been raped by many people.

Elizabeth couldn't bear to imagine the scene of herself being violated!

Elizabeth kept her head down, her hair falling to cover half of her face. She sat quietly, looking out of place in the chaotic police station.

Alexander came out from inside and immediately saw the troubled Elizabeth.

She was too calm, as if she hadn't experienced any of it.

Other girls in Dream City who encountered such things might have been trembling and crying uncontrollably by now.

Other women would have immediately hugged him, seeking comfort.

But Elizabeth did none of that.

Alexander slowly walked over, got a cup of water, and handed it to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth followed the beautiful hand upward and saw Alexander's face.

He was backlit, his features rugged. His facial lines were the most defined, with the best jawline.

Elizabeth looked at the face she had loved for many years and then at the cup he handed over, feeling a pang of sadness.

If they could always be good, and he always loved her, how wonderful that would be.

She would be the happiest person in the world.

Although Alexander had many flaws.

But Alexander always gave her a great sense of security.

He squatted by Elizabeth's legs and said gently, "Elizabeth, drink some water."

"I'll get your bag later, and then I'll take you back to Lisbun," he said.

Elizabeth looked at Alexander and said calmly, "I want to see Valentin."

"I'll take care of Valentin; you don't need to," Alexander's voice turned colder at the mention of Valentin.

"Alexander, cut off his hands and feet. Gouge out his eyes." This was her request.

Alexander laughed. "You're quite ruthless."

Elizabeth choked up, frowning, "If he doesn't die today, it will be me who dies. He never intended to let me go, so why shouldn't I be ruthless?"

He lost, and this was the price he deserved.

After all, this was Dream City.

Alexander raised his fingertips, wanting to touch Elizabeth's clothes. But he paused and didn't touch her, instead asking, "Did he burn this?"

"Yes," Elizabeth lowered her eyes.

"Elizabeth, I know what to do." He ruffled Elizabeth's hair and lifted the cup in her hand, indicating for her to drink some water.

Elizabeth remained calm and said nothing more.

Alexander even wondered if Elizabeth had been scared out of her wits.

He thought about taking Elizabeth to see a doctor when they got back to Lisbun.

The medical facilities in Dream City were still not as advanced as those in Lisbun.

"Mr. Tudor," someone called Alexander from behind.

Alexander stood up; it was the police chief, with Zander behind him.

Elizabeth saw the bag tightly held in Zander's arms.

"Ms. Percy, this is your bag." Zander handed the bag to Elizabeth with trembling hands.

No wonder she couldn't find it; it had been protected by Zander all along.
