Chapter 928

Elizabeth pursed her lips. She knew it; all these rumors stemmed from her leaving Alexander's house.

Mainly because she always came and went late at night, it was no wonder people speculated.

But Elizabeth explained good-naturedly, "Alexander and I really haven't remarried. We have no plans to remarry at the moment. Since everyone is so interested in my marital status and Alexander, why don't we play a game of truth or dare today?"

Elizabeth took a seat, crossed her arms, and looked calm and composed.

She really had a strong presence, especially today.

It was hard to tell if it was because everyone at the reunion was too low-key and ordinary, or if Elizabeth naturally had this quality that made it impossible to look away when she appeared.

"Truth or dare, we're willing to play, but are you really willing to play?" Thalia made an excuse for Elizabeth.

For ordinary people like them, what was there to confess?

Elizabeth shrugged. What was there to be afraid of? Wasn't everyone curious?

Anyway, it wasn't mealtime yet, and they had nothing else to do.

Since she suggested the game, there were definitely things she wanted to know too.

And Thalia shouldn't forget. When she invited Elizabeth, she had set conditions.

"Come on, if Elizabeth dares to play, why shouldn't we? Everyone, sit down," someone started organizing.

The private room was large, and with over thirty people, it was a bit noisy.

But as soon as they heard Elizabeth was going to play truth or dare, everyone gathered around. The room instantly quieted down.

Eight people sat down, while the rest watched the fun.

Elizabeth shook the empty wine bottle in her hand and said, "Whoever it points to has to tell the truth. If you can't, you drink."

As she spoke, someone had already placed several bottles of whiskey on the table.

Everyone looked at each other, panicking.

"If anyone can't handle it, you can leave now," Elizabeth offered a friendly reminder.

"Let's get a few people who can hold their liquor!" someone suggested.

Elizabeth tilted her head, "What do you have to hide? We haven't even started playing, and you're already worried about whether you can drink?"

This group was so cowardly.

Thalia couldn't help but smile. She looked at Elizabeth, feeling a bit restless inside.

It was as if she was back in that summer when she first met Elizabeth.

In the girls' dormitory, everyone was ordinary except for Elizabeth. She was Elizabeth; she didn't need to stay in the dorm, but she wanted to get to know everyone and told them she was a local. If they needed anything, they could come to her, and she would help if she could.

Meanwhile, Esme from the neighboring dorm didn't care about roommates or classmates. The people in her dorm had never even seen Esme. To this day, Esme probably didn't know who her roommates were.

Elizabeth had this personality in college, getting along with everyone.

She was just too kind, which was why Esme bullied her so much.

"Come on, take your seats, let's get started," Delbert, the host, said.

He held the microphone and started the first round of the game.

The bottle spun wildly, and everyone silently hoped it would land on Elizabeth.

Wouldn't it be exciting if the game started with Elizabeth tonight?

Everyone had already thought of the first question to ask.

However, Elizabeth's luck was too good. Instead of landing on her, it landed on another girl.

"Come on, tell the truth. You got married right after graduation. Was it because you were pregnant?" one of the guys asked.

Elizabeth was stunned.

How did they know so much?

The girl looked a bit embarrassed.

With thirty people around her, how was she supposed to answer?

"This is truth or dare. If you don't tell the truth, you drink. If you pass out after drinking, you might not get to hear the juicy gossip tonight," Delbert reminded the girl.

This kind of truth or dare might only happen once in a lifetime.
