Chapter 953

Elizabeth lowered her head, unable to speak.

"I know you can't accept me right away. But Elizabeth, I can wait. I just ask one thing, don't push me away, okay?"

"Let me drive you anywhere, be your chauffeur; let me accompany you on business trips, let me buy things for you, spend money on you, take care of you."

He lowered his eyelashes, both humble and nagging, "Don't despise me, let me stand by your side. I'm not that disgraceful to you, really."

Elizabeth couldn't stop her tears from falling.

She just wanted to see a fireworks display, to experience what it felt like to have the whole city lit up by him.

But she didn't expect to fall into his trap.

"Can you take care of me?" Elizabeth secretly wiped her tears and then adjusted her mindset.

Alexander's words were like a jar of sugar.

Not to be easily believed.

Although she softened, he still needed to be observed.

"I can try."

"Really? So I'm a guinea pig for you to practice on, right?" Elizabeth asked him.

Alexander immediately shook his head, "No."

"Then who are you going to try on?"

Alexander didn't know when it started, but he couldn't even have a normal conversation with Elizabeth anymore.

He couldn't outtalk her.

Elizabeth looked at the still ongoing fireworks and said lightly, "Stop it, no more."

Alexander nodded repeatedly, sent a message to Nolan, and told him to stop.

Although it was beautiful, it was really late and would disturb the neighbors.

Fortunately, today was New Year's Eve, even if they didn't set off fireworks, others would.

Elizabeth turned to leave.

She looked at the roses on the side, impulsively took one, and then handed it to Alexander, "This is for you, thank you for making me happy."

After saying that, Elizabeth walked downstairs alone.

Alexander looked at the rose in his hand and smiled.

"What about what I said." Alexander followed beside her.

Elizabeth replied, "I'll consider it."

Alexander asked, "Really?"

Elizabeth nodded, "Yes."

When had she ever lied to Alexander?

"Where are you going next?" he asked.

Elizabeth answered, "Home."

Today's hangover cures were somehow not working, maybe she drank too much, she still felt a bit dizzy.

Before, she could take one hangover cure, and drinking would be like drinking water, with no reaction at all.

"Can I take you home?" he followed Elizabeth into the elevator, cautiously.

To be honest, Elizabeth still liked the domineering Alexander.

He was too humble now, as if he had come down from a pedestal, and it didn't feel right.

He was the most arrogant in high school.

He always had injuries on his face, wherever he went, he was arrogant, and if someone provoked him, he would use his fists instead of words.

Maybe because she was spoiled as a child, she liked rebellious people in high school.

Elizabeth leaned against the elevator wall, head down.

She heard Alexander say, "The Tudor Group is having a year-end party, and I want to invite you to come with me."

Elizabeth looked up, what?

Alexander took an invitation from his pocket, "Elizabeth, I invite you to be my date and attend the Tudor Group's year-end party with me."
