Chapter 915

Alexander had indeed knelt before Elizabeth.

"Alright," Elizabeth interrupted.

Alexander felt a bit sad when he heard her call it off.

He knew deep down that Elizabeth still didn't want to accept him.

Alexander wanted to respect Elizabeth's wishes.

But then he saw Aubrey grab Elizabeth's arm, preventing her from standing up.

Aubrey, in the cutest way, pouted, "No, he hasn't put the ring on you yet."

"We're not married, I can't wear a ring," Elizabeth explained to him.

"But he likes you, he's pursuing you. Why won't you give him a chance? Sis, is what he did really unforgivable for a lifetime?"

Elizabeth admitted it was a good question.

"You're too mature for your age. That's not good!" Elizabeth tapped Aubrey on the head.

Aubrey then hugged Elizabeth's arm and said to Alexander, "Go ahead! She's ready now!"

Even if she wasn't ready, she should be by now!

Elizabeth was confused.

The two of them seemed to be in perfect sync.

Alexander directly knelt on one knee, cooperatively handed over the ring, and asked Elizabeth, "Ms. Percy, may I borrow Aubrey's ring to give you a small gift? Will you accept it?"

As soon as Alexander finished speaking, Aubrey shook his head and waved his hand.

"No, you need to say, will you marry me?"

Alexander chuckled.

Elizabeth definitely wouldn't marry him.

It was better to ask if she would accept the gift. Elizabeth wouldn't outright reject him.

Maybe this was the difference between children and adults.

Adults always considered more possibilities. Would they be rejected? How could they avoid rejection?

But children just wanted to achieve their goals.

"Say it again," Aubrey nudged Alexander's arm, urging him to repeat.

Alexander explained, "She's a bit shy. It's better not to ask her to marry me directly, or she'll get mad and run away."

"Really?" Aubrey tilted his head.

Alexander nodded.

Aubrey, being very understanding, immediately asked Elizabeth, "So, will you accept the gift he's giving you?"

Both of them looked at Elizabeth in unison.

One was the mature and handsome Alexander, the other was the adorable little Aubrey.

Elizabeth suddenly found herself loving this feeling.

She really wanted a well-behaved and cute child like this.

In the future, she would have a husband's care and a child's company. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Elizabeth reached out cooperatively, "Alright then, I'll reluctantly accept his gift. After all, this ring belongs to our Aubrey!"

Elizabeth was incredibly patient with Aubrey.

Alexander was very jealous.

If it weren't for Aubrey, Elizabeth would have gotten up and left. She wouldn't have cooperated with Alexander like this.

But Alexander was still very happy.

Alexander held Elizabeth's fingertips.

Elizabeth's fingers were warm and soft.

Elizabeth looked into Alexander's eyes.

On their wedding day, Alexander hadn't put a ring on her.

She never expected that one day, Alexander would put a ring on her.
