Alexander had indeed knelt before Elizabeth.
"Alright," Elizabeth interrupted.
Alexander felt a bit sad when he heard her call it off.

Elizabeth was confused.

Alexander directly knelt on one knee, cooperatively handed over the ring, and asked Elizabeth, "Ms. Percy, may I borrow Aubrey's ring to give you a small gift? Will you accept it?"
