Chapter 1006
"Are you okay?" Alexander finally had the time to ask Grant how he was doing.
Grant nodded, his attitude towards Alexander a bit more gentle than before.
Celine sighed, "There are too many people. Let's all slow down a bit."
"Alright," Grant said with a smile, "Don't worry, I'm fine."
"As we get older, a fall can be serious," Celine said anxiously, tightly gripping Grant's arm, "Hold on to me."
"If I hold on to you, I'll just drag you down with me when I fall!" Grant snorted.
Celine said, "I don't care, just hold on to me."
"Alright, I'll hold on to you," Grant couldn't argue with her.
Alexander quietly accompanied them from behind, a smile unconsciously forming on his lips. How wonderful.
Who wouldn't envy a love that remained strong even in old age?
"Shall we buy some candy?" Celine pointed to the candy ahead.
Grant replied, "Sure."
Whatever she wanted, he would nod and agree, the two of them harmonious and mutually respectful.
When they came out of the supermarket, the cart was already piled high with many things.
Alexander stepped forward, "Let me take it."
Grant said, "No need."
"It's okay," Alexander insisted, taking the cart from Grant's hands.
Grant couldn't help but give Alexander a second look, saying, "You're Alexander, is this appropriate?"
"In front of you, I'm just an ordinary person. I'm a sinner," Alexander said sincerely and apologetically.
Celine let out a cold laugh, "At least you know yourself well."
Grant followed with a chuckle.
"You're being too harsh," Grant couldn't bear to listen anymore.
"You, just because he helped you a bit, you're already bought off?" Celine scolded.
Alexander followed silently, not daring to speak.
Just a moment ago, they were a loving couple, and now they were arguing because of him. How could he dare to speak?
Grant said, "Let's buy some drawing paper, I want to do some painting."
"Your paintings are terrible."
"Is there any painting in this world better than mine?"
Celine let out a cold laugh, not sparing his dignity. "Stop being narcissistic."
Grant laughed heartily, "Let's go buy some drawing paper."
After saying that, Grant deliberately looked at Alexander and said, "By the way, Alexander, you don't know how to paint, do you?"
"If you don't, you wouldn't know what kind of drawing paper to buy. Why don't you just go back? We're fine, you don't need to follow us around!" Grant was trying to get rid of him.
Unexpectedly, Alexander said, "I can paint."
Grant frowned, what?
"If you want to see, I can draw something for you later," Alexander said gently.
Celine burst out laughing.
"If you want to get rid of him, just say so."
Celine cleared her throat, not holding back at all. "Mr. Tudor, what he means is, you shouldn't follow us anymore, you're disturbing us."
"I'm just quietly following, how could I disturb you? I won't even speak," Alexander insisted shamelessly.
Celine said, "Mr. Tudor, with someone as distinguished as you following us, we really feel uncomfortable."
