"There's a kissing scene?" Kieran couldn't help but look at the director and asked with a smile.
The director immediately nodded, "Yes, Lila's character is in a loving relationship with the male lead. They later separate, and this scene is a flashback of their memories."
Kieran pursed his lips and stared at the director for a while.
The director's words didn't stir any emotions in him.
The director smiled, "What's the matter, Mr. Getty? Do you have something to say?"

The director nodded and continued chatting with the producer.
Kieran pulled up a chair and sat down.

Lila's perfume was much more subtle; this one was almost too intense.

Kieran looked down and scrolled through his phone.
Alexander had sent him a message; he was sunbathing with Elizabeth, enjoying himself.
Kieran: [You should be thanking me, you jerk.]
Alexander: [Shouldn't you be the one thanking me?]
Kieran: [I'm here on set as Lila's assistant and driver.]
Alexander: [That's your lucky break, make the most of it. Others would kill for the chance to be Lila's assistant.]
Kieran: [Oh yeah, I'm just SO grateful.]
Alexander: [Forget about thanking me, just tell me if you're happy or not. If you're not, come back now.]
Kieran stared at the message for a while and couldn't help but laugh.
Of course, he was happy.
Why wouldn't he be happy to be Lila's assistant?
Kieran turned off his phone and saw something fall by his leg.
Kieran bent down to pick it up, but a girl across from him also squatted down.
Kieran looked up and met the girl's gaze.
Wasn't this the actress from earlier?
Seeing her about to pick it up, Kieran didn't reach out. The girl smiled at Kieran, picked up the item, and sweetly said, "Thank you."

As he spoke, Kieran glanced towards the lounge.
Why wasn't Lila out yet?

She looked at her agent for help.
The agent immediately jumped in with a smile, "Don't worry about it, Mr. Getty. Someone in your position meets hundreds of people at these functions. Our Cecilia is still making her way up in the industry!"
