Chapter 926

The next day afternoon, in a private room of a five-star restaurant, a large dining table was filled with people.

Everyone was chatting and laughing, and many long-lost friends added each other on social media today.

"Otha Soderberg, you're doing great! I heard you're at the best hospital now!"

"Not only that, but your mentor is the most popular professor, Theron Caudill. That's impressive!"

Downstairs, a purple Pagani pulled up. The security guards greeted it from afar; they were very familiar with this car.

There was only one purple Pagani in the city, and it belonged to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth got out of the car, tossed the keys to the valet, and lazily walked inside.

A waiter came up and led Elizabeth to the elevator.

In the elevator, Elizabeth looked at herself in the mirror and casually adjusted her hair.

Today, she was wearing a black velvet dress with an off-white fur coat. Around her neck was a white pearl necklace.

Her overall style today was both luxurious and glamorous. The waiter stole several glances at her, unable to hide his admiration.

Elizabeth had great skin, and her face was perfect with minimal makeup.

The elevator doors opened, and the waiter quickly led the way.

The hallway was carpeted, making it difficult to walk steadily in high heels.

In front of a private room, the waiter stopped and gestured for Elizabeth to enter.

Elizabeth stood at the door, nodded slightly at the waiter, and was about to push the door open when she heard loud laughter from inside.

"If you want to talk about the most miserable, it's still Esme. The person she loved for so many years ended up sending her to a mental hospital!"

"What are you talking about? Isn't Elizabeth the most miserable?"

Elizabeth found this rebuttal voice very familiar. If she guessed correctly, it should be Thalia speaking.

The man immediately said, "How is Elizabeth miserable? Although Alexander doesn't love her, she held the position of Mrs. Tudor for three years, enjoying endless glory outside. Just the title of Mrs. Tudor alone means she's not miserable."

Elizabeth squinted.

Did she care about that title?

Was she afraid of being looked down upon outside? Just a reputation!

If she really cared, she wouldn't have shut down Base M for Alexander.

Wasn't the famous Glory M inspiring enough? Didn't it make people kneel and look up to her?

Thalia, very displeased, sternly retorted, "Stop talking nonsense. That's completely illogical. Just because Esme got hurt and ended up in the hospital, does that make her miserable? And because Elizabeth was Mrs. Tudor for three years, she's not miserable?"

"I'm telling you, Elizabeth is the most miserable! Esme, Alexander, they all owe Elizabeth!"

Thalia slammed the table.

In an instant, the room fell silent.

"Alright, alright, aren't we here for a reunion? Why is everyone talking about Elizabeth?"

"Speaking of which, we haven't seen Elizabeth in a long time. We've only seen her in the news these past two years."

"Will Elizabeth come today? She's a socialite. Would she attend our little reunion?"

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow.

She knew Thalia was protective of her, especially since she would fiercely defend her in the comment sections against negative remarks.

But she didn't expect Thalia to protect her so much, even arguing with others at a reunion for her.

In the silence, Elizabeth pushed the door open.

At that moment, everyone looked over.

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow and made her entrance under everyone's gaze.

Everyone who saw Elizabeth exclaimed how beautiful she was!

"Am I late?" Elizabeth's voice was lazy.

Everyone shook their heads.

Thalia immediately came up, smiling, "Elizabeth, I'm so happy you could come!"
