Alexander put down his glass and looked at Elizabeth with a complex expression. He watched as Elizabeth picked up her phone, ignoring him completely as if he were a stranger.
He couldn't suppress his feelings.
He wanted to rush over and make her look at him, only at him!
Alexander lowered his head, but he couldn't just rush over. He had promised Elizabeth that he wouldn't pester her anymore.

Elizabeth squinted.
Who was Lila cursing?
Was Lila cursing her entertainment company? Or was she cursing... Elizabeth's gaze fell on Kieran, who also didn't look too pleased.
"Are you cursing Mr. Getty?" Elizabeth asked Lila.
Lila smiled, "Yes, I am cursing him! A boss who can't manage his subordinates is incompetent!"
Elizabeth quickly intervened, "Lila, don't be so hot-tempered. Kieran is still your boss."
"So what?"
"You're a celebrity." Lila had cursed Kieran several times today.
Although Kieran didn't mind once or twice, three times was too much. He had his pride too.
Although Kieran usually made headlines through scandals, it didn't mean he wasn't ruthless. Kieran could hang out with Alexander; he wasn't simple.
Lila sighed, knowing she was a bit out of line, but she couldn't help it.
"His company's people maliciously photoshopped and slandered me. Do you think I'm wronged? Shouldn't I be angry with him?"
Slamming the table was already a mild reaction.
Lila's manager called her, asking where she was. They said some negative news about her suddenly appeared on Instagram, like being arrogant and uncooperative during shoots, excessive photoshopping, etc.
After investigating, they found out that the rumors were spread by staff from Kieran's company!
