Chapter 256 The Windsor Siblings Had Such a Great Relationship!

The crew was pretty nervous.

The main actors, Richard and Sophia, had gone missing during filming. If word got out, the whole crew, including the investors, would be in deep trouble!

The Crew Leader said, "So we've been keeping it quiet and didn't dare call the cops. Luckily, Ms. Windsor, you're here. Otherwise, we wouldn't know how to explain this!"

Catherine frowned, her tone a bit sharp. "With something this serious, how could you not call the police? If something happens to Richard and Sophia, who's gonna take the blame?"

Catherine wasn't a cop or a detective, so the crew couldn't really rely on her to find them.

Seeing the faint anger on Catherine's face, the crew leader, sweating bullets, explained, "No, we wanted to call the police, but Richard and Sophia's agents said to wait for you first!"

Sophia's management contract was with Harmony Enterprises, the entertainment company owned by Galactic Aurora Collective.

The agents, who were also internal staff, didn't know what exactly had happened, so they decided to hold off on calling the police for now.

Catherine stepped inside. "If there's no news in two hours, call the police. You've already wasted the best time for a search and rescue."

The crew had poured a ton of money into this film, hoping to win awards. If news of the leads going missing got out now, hundreds of millions of dollars of investment would go down the drain!

The crew leader quickly agreed.

Catherine's eyes landed on the two agents waiting nearby. "Who's been bothering Richard lately?"

"Just some fans. Even if Richard sues them, most of them are minors, so it's hard to deal with," Richard's agent said.

On the first day of filming, several fans were already hanging around, but since they were only twelve years old, the crew had to arrange vehicles to send them back.

This back-and-forth made those fans feel like Richard was encouraging and welcoming them!

The agent pulled out a phone. "This is Richard's phone. I don't know the password, but you can take a look."

The lock screen background was still a photo of Richard and Catherine, with a few members of the Windsor Family cropped out at the edges.

Catherine was momentarily stunned and tried entering her own birthday, successfully unlocking the phone.

She remembered Richard saying that he had changed all his device and bank card passwords to Catherine's birthday!

The message list was filled with nasty texts.

"Why didn't Richard just contact the carrier to disable the messaging feature?" Catherine asked.

The agent explained, "Richard didn't usually check his messages, but after you went home, he started checking them occasionally, afraid of missing your texts."

In fact, Catherine rarely sent texts; she would usually call if there was something important.

Richard did this simply because he was worried about missing any of Catherine's messages!

Catherine didn't know whether to blame herself for texting Richard in the first place or regret that she had sent him too few messages!

Richard had even marked the few messages she sent as favorites!

Alexander noticed Catherine's guilt and softly reassured her. "Even if he disabled the messaging feature, those people would call when they found out they couldn't send texts, making it even more troublesome. This isn't your fault. Besides, you can't rely on self-restraint to avoid these issues. The key is to deal with those obsessive fans."

Catherine quickly pulled herself together. "Let's find them first. Where was Sophia last seen?"

Venus replied, "A small ditch to the north."

The village wasn't big, but it was surrounded by mountains, and a hundred miles further was the border.

Catherine pocketed Richard's phone. "Take me there."

The door of a nearby courtyard creaked open, and Neil, wearing an army coat, walked out. "You and Alexander are back? Why didn't you let me know!"

"Neil, did you hear any noises a few days ago?" Catherine asked.

Neil lived in a yard not far from Cloudscape Villa. If Richard and Sophia went missing, Neil might have heard something!

Everyone looked at Neil expectantly.

Neil thought for a moment. "Let me think. A few nights ago, Brent came by with some people from the Brown Family, asking for your contact info. I didn't give it to them!"

Thinking of Brent's expression, Neil got angry, thinking they clearly had bad intentions! "I didn't hear any noises at night either. Richard said it was a bit noisy with the filming, so I didn't stay here at night."

Neil lived nearby mainly to look after Cloudscape Villa and guard Elodie's grave.

Last time, the Windsor Family came in a grand procession and moved Elodie's grave, saying they were burying her in the Windsor Family cemetery, which gave Neil some peace of mind.

He had been worried that if he passed away, Elodie would have no one to accompany her!

With Richard staying at Cloudscape Villa, Neil simply stayed at his relative's house at night, outside the crew's area.

Neil was very pleased with the Windsor Family's children, as Richard was very considerate!

Now hearing that Richard was missing, Neil was also a bit anxious!

Catherine nodded. "Got it. I'll go check the north."

"The north? The Brown Family's old house is to the north!" Neil said.

The Brown Family's old house had been abandoned for years and was in disrepair, but it was indeed to the north!

"Take me there!" Catherine said.

"Alright!" Neil didn't hesitate and led Catherine and the crew towards the northern hillside.

The paths in the small village were hard to navigate, with weeds taller than people and many places without passable roads.

The crew complained bitterly but didn't dare voice their grievances.

They saw Catherine walking briskly at the front. Not only did she not complain, but she also walked very fast!

She and Alexander followed Neil, leaving the crew far behind, showing how worried she was about Richard!

The Windsor siblings had such a strong bond!

Alexander was the first to step onto the hillside, turning back to extend his hand to Catherine. "Come!"

He showed no complaints in this environment.

One moment he was a CEO with hundreds of billions of dollars in international contracts, and the next, he was standing on a rugged village slope, stepping on thorns and reaching out to Catherine.

Placing her hand in Alexander's palm, Catherine easily climbed the hillside with his help and turned to Neil. "Neil, the crew might not be able to climb up here. Wait for them and take them another way."

Catherine and Alexander were top assassins operating on the border, making climbing such a slope a piece of cake.

For the crew, climbing this nearly vertical slope was not so easy!

Catherine and Alexander chose the shortcut to save time.

Neil couldn't climb up either, so he stayed to wait for the crew. "Alright! Just over this hill is the Brown Family's old house!"
