Chapter 334 Let Juniper Leave the Windsor Family!
Lila sat in her wheelchair, still fuming.
The bodyguards at the door initially wanted to stop her, but Lila had come prepared with a large speaker.
She played a recording of Marcus apologizing to her on a loop right at the entrance of the Windsor Villa.
The bodyguards wanted to remove Lila forcibly, but Marcus told them to let her in.
He had plenty of old questions he wanted to ask Lila anyway.
Marcus knew that Lila had been staying in the hospital, not because she was unconscious, but because she was avoiding the Windsor family.
Seeing Lila now, Marcus felt even more that marrying her was a mistake.
Unfortunately, the ones bearing the consequences were the Windsor family's children.
Behind Lila stood a priest, holding a cross and looking all mystical with his eyes closed.
"Marcus, I'm here on someone's behalf. Juniper staying at the Windsor Villa is not appropriate. As long as she's here, the Windsor Villa will be in chaos!"
"This is Allan Jennings from Grace Haven Church. He did a reading for Juniper when she was born and said she would bring bad luck to others! If she doesn't leave the Windsor family before she turns twenty, the whole family will be ruined!"
Lila declared, "I'm divorcing Marcus because of her!"
Marcus snapped, "Stop spouting nonsense! You're making things up!"
Lila sneered.
"If you didn't believe me, why would you let me in?"
She was sure Marcus knew she was right; otherwise, why would he let her in?
"Marcus, you have to believe me. I'm the one who loves you the most. I'm Brandon's biological mother. How could I harm you?"
Marcus gripped his cane, exuding authority without anger.
"I let you in to ask how Brandon ended up being your child. Don't lie to me; I've already done a DNA test!"
The Windsor family had secretly done a DNA test between her and Brandon?
Lila was panicked inside but maintained a facade of denial.
"Brandon is my child. I carried him for ten months. How could it be fake? Allan said Juniper brings bad luck to the Windsor family. Since you've found her family, send her away quickly!"
"Marcus, I've been thinking about you and the kids while lying in the hospital. I was deceived by Esme before, but you have to understand, I'm your wife!"
Catherine, holding Juniper's hand, frowned and said, "Weren't you always lying in the hospital? How do you know Juniper found her family?"
Juniper had intentionally kept it low-key, and the families had tacitly agreed not to announce it.
How did Lila, who pretended to be a comatose patient, know about this?
Lila rolled her eyes.
"Allan divined it, of course. Allan is highly skilled. Everything he says is true."
Catherine raised an eyebrow.
"Didn't he say Esme was an angel by God's side? That angel didn't bring you any good luck."
Not only did Esme not bring Lila good luck, but she also used Lila! Before leaving, she even took all the money from Lila's account!
She didn't even spare the jade pendant around Lila's neck, taking everything…
Thinking about how she had loved Esme for so many years, only to be betrayed, Lila trembled with anger.
"Esme's misfortune is her own doing. Once she overcomes these trials, she'll know who truly cares for her and will take me to God's side! Marcus, send Juniper and Catherine away now, take me home, and we'll be together with God!"
The Windsor family fell into an eerie silence.
Catherine frowned and said, "It seems the illness is quite severe."
Lila had always been superstitious when she was young.
Now, it was worse. After being bedridden for a while, she had lost a lot of weight, her face sunken, looking harsh and mean.
The sound of high heels echoed in the Windsor Villa's hall.
A woman in a black velvet dress with meticulously styled curls walked in, exuding elegance. She held her head high, looking down on everyone, her lips curled in a mocking smile.
Arabella walked up and kicked over Lila's wheelchair!
"Arabella, are you trying to kill me?"
Arabella said indifferently, "My eyesight isn't great. Sorry, who's making all that noise?"
Lila's body was still weak. If she hadn't been assured that causing a scene would get her back into the Windsor family, she wouldn't have come!
Now, being kicked by Arabella, Lila felt like dying.
The Windsor and Howard families had a deep bond, and over the years, Arabella had often shown her disdain for Lila!
Every time, she was blunt, making Lila's heart condition flare up, but as a big star, Arabella's bad temper was well-known and easily brushed off!
Arabella's gaze fell on Allan, filled with contempt.
"Did you say Juniper brings bad luck?"
Allan, a seasoned con artist, smoothly replied, "I didn't mean that. It's just that having both of them in the house causes unrest. Changing their names and not keeping them at home will ensure peace for a hundred years."
Arabella raised an eyebrow.
"Then tell me, what should Juniper's and Catherine's last names be?"
Allan pretended to calculate.
"They should follow their maternal family's surname."
Catherine sneered.
"Then Juniper and I will take my grandfather's surname, Martinez."
Allan's expression froze for a moment.
Catherine didn't miss his reaction and said coldly, "What's wrong, Mr. Jennings? Can't you divine Juniper's maternal grandfather's surname?"
"Of course, I can. This young lady should be named Harrison! Her fate is too strong, like a rainbow piercing the sun. Keeping her at home harms her family!"
Catherine realized the Harrison family likely hired Allan!
But who wanted Juniper back in the Harrison family so badly?
Brandon was furious!
"Who does my daughter threaten?"
"Even if God himself said they bring bad luck, the Windsor family wouldn't care! I refuse to believe I, Brandon, can't protect my daughters!"
Juniper tugged on Brandon's sleeve.
Her last name didn't matter to her.
As long as she considered the Windsor family her forever family, that was enough. If Allan was right and she was a threat to the Windsor family, Juniper would feel guilty…
"Maybe I should change my last name…"
A cold voice came from the door.
"With me here, who dares say Juniper shouldn't be a Windsor?"
