Tiberius's gaze was fixed on Catherine.
He believed she would definitely make the best choice!
Catherine's gaze was calm, without a trace of emotion. "I disagree. This kind of threat doesn't work on me."
Tiberius said incredulously, "Why? Don't you care about Juniper's feelings? She's her mother!"
"Impossible! I've investigated it thoroughly. You've used your connections to clean up the pests in Juniper's lab, and the food she eats every day is delivered from your restaurant. You can't not care about her!"
"Ms. Windsor, you can't be so heartless! How can you not care about Juniper's feelings? Do you want Juniper to be without a mother?"
Tiberius's eyes were bloodshot, and he was on the verge of madness.
He was covered in wounds and had injected himself with several doses of special medicine just to muster the strength to take Paloma away.

Tiberius had confirmed that Catherine cared about Juniper after investigating many things.

Paloma's brother didn't have children of his own, and by some twist of fate, he adopted Tiberius and Dashiell, who were always treated as part of the Harrison family.
Juniper mocked, "Oh, then you really are useless. I have shares in the Windsor family."
Tiberius's eyes widened! "Are you mocking me? Aren't you afraid I'll kill your mother?"
Juniper calmly took out her phone, "Sir. It's this man, he kidnapped my mother."
Tiberius didn't expect Juniper to call the cop.
On the way here, Juniper had forced herself to calm down and, after discussing with Evander, decided to call the cop directly.
Tiberius's actions were nothing more than using Juniper to force Catherine. He wouldn't be willing to die with Paloma.
Catherine slightly raised her chin, "Look behind you."
Tiberius suddenly turned around, and on the rooftop of a nearby building, Alexander stood like a figure in the clouds, his gun aimed at Tiberius's head! "Alexander? How is he here!"
Seeing Alexander, Tiberius panicked!
What he guessed wrong was that Alexander didn't care about Catherine. The Windsor family and the Howard family were just a business alliance; they shouldn't have feelings for each other.
Facing Alexander's cold gun barrel and indifferent eyes, Tiberius felt his blood freeze!
Catherine said indifferently, "Oh, I also have a gun. You've heard of my marksmanship, right?"

Catherine expressionlessly pulled the trigger, and the silenced bullet shot directly into Tiberius's thigh!
"Ahhh! You're crazy! If you dare touch me, I'll kill Paloma! I'll take her with me!" Tiberius lunged at Paloma, but before he could get close, Juniper ran up and hugged Paloma.
The chair toppled under their weight, making a loud noise, and Paloma slowly woke up, seeing Juniper in front of her. "Ms. Juniper Windsor? Why are you here?"
Juniper's face was covered in tears, "Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell anywhere?"
Paloma shook her head, feeling the warmth of Juniper's embrace. Why did this girl feel so familiar?
It seemed like every morning when she looked in the mirror, she saw such a face.
Catherine's bullet struck again, hitting Tiberius's arm!
"Don't kill me, Mr. Morales won't let you go. I know many of his secrets."
"The secrets I want to know don't need to come from your mouth."
"If you kill me, the Harrison family won't let the Windsor family go either!"
Catherine said disdainfully, "With what you're doing now, neither the Windsor family nor the Harrison family will let you go."
"No! You can't kill me!" Tiberius said as he looked for a chance to escape.
Catherine's gaze fell on a nearby stairwell, where a sniper was aiming at the rooftop!
Judging by the trajectory, the person being targeted was Juniper.
"Juniper, watch out!" Catherine shouted.
Tiberius roared, "I'll kill you all! I've already arranged for a sniper!"
Before his laughter could fade, a bullet from the opposite side pierced Tiberius's heart, and at the same time, a bullet pierced the sniper on the opposite side, their falling sounds overlapping!
Amidst the chaos, Juniper's cries rang out.
At the most critical moment, Paloma used her body to shield Juniper.
The bullet pierced Paloma's scapula, and blood flowed from the wound, staining her clothes.
Juniper looked at Paloma's pale face, frantically trying to cover her wound with her hands. "Why? Why did you shield me? Your body is so weak, why did you save me!"
Catherine approached, untying the ropes binding Paloma and checking her wound, "I'll call an ambulance."
"Evander is downstairs; the ambulance and police should be here."
Evander, upon arriving at the hotel, remembered his promise to Owen not to meet Paloma and was worried that seeing her would agitate her.
Juniper and Evander split up, and the sounds of police and ambulance sirens were already echoing downstairs.
Juniper cried uncontrollably, "Catherine, will she be okay? I just found my mom; I don't want her to leave."
"With me here, she'll be fine. This chair blocked part of the bullet's penetration, reducing its impact." Catherine said as she performed simple first aid and stopped the bleeding for Paloma.
Paloma, weak, trembled as she touched Juniper's face, her expression full of love and tenderness.
Paloma didn't know who Juniper was; this child seemed unrelated to her.
Paloma said, "I don't know either, maybe it's instinct? Just the thought of you getting hurt in front of me makes my heart ache so much. Even if I die, as long as you're safe, it's okay."
After saying this, Paloma fainted, a satisfied smile on her lips.
Juniper cried uncontrollably, feeling like the ambulance was taking forever. Why was this time so long?
Catherine lowered her eyes, gently patting Juniper's back. "Juniper, she forgot everything, but she didn't forget to love you. Don't worry, I won't let you be without a mother. Trust me."
