Chapter 340 George Is a Madman!

The park near the lab was a favorite hangout for couples.

Right in the middle of the flower beds, there were a few small wooden cabins, a big hit with tourists looking for the perfect photo opportunity.

Catherine raised an eyebrow. "This place is part of the Galactic Aurora Collective's experimental base."

When the Blade of Dusk made their move, the Galactic Aurora Collective was totally blindsided!

Mercury peeked out from the bushes. "Who would've thought, Ms. Windsor? We were just grabbing lunch, and they figured no one was around, so they just dragged someone in!"

The Galactic Aurora Collective was in shock!

Annie suddenly realized, "We could never figure out who owned this area. Turns out it's your turf!"

If she'd known, she wouldn't have rushed!

Mercury continued, "Ms. Windsor likes to keep things on the down-low. This lab usually just messes around with perfumes and cosmetics. The production line's too long, so we planned to sell it off for some extra cash."

"No clue who the buyer is, but they always snap up our lab's formulas and even toss us annual dividends."

Annie paused for a moment.

"If I remember right, the Howard Group's beauty division is the one working with the Galactic Aurora Collective on perfumes... Mr. Howard himself made that deal..."

The so-called sucker seemed to be standing right next to them!

Catherine couldn't help but chuckle softly.

Mercury quickly put on a smile. "Mr. Howard, we've got a few new formulas. The boss loves them. Want to sign on again?"

Alexander raised an eyebrow, his gaze lingering on Catherine beside him.

"Am I the sucker?"

Catherine shrugged. "If that's how you see it, I can't help you."

Seeing her playful expression, Alexander affectionately tapped Catherine's nose with his finger, shaking his head with a smile.

"If Catherine thinks it's good, of course, I'll sign."

"Mr. Howard, you're so generous!"

Catherine raised an eyebrow as she walked toward the lit-up cabin in the dark. "Mr. Howard, you're so loaded? You'd sign without even smelling it?"

Alexander wrapped an arm around Catherine's slender waist, leaning in close with a hint of flirtation in his voice.

"Haven't you already let me smell it, Catherine?"

The scent on her was different from before, a rich lily of the valley with a fresh, alluring fruitiness. Alexander thought it was the latest perfume release!

"Mr. Howard, you know so much about perfumes?"

"Of course, understanding the women's market is part of my business."

Inside the cabin.

Inigo held a knife to George's face!

He squinted, his voice icy. "George, you think you can date someone from Blade of Dusk? Better give up on that idea!"

George barely lifted his eyelids.

"What do you want?"

Inigo sneered, his scarred face menacing, the knife pressing against George's skin.

The sharp blade grazed George's face, cold and biting.

"I want you to understand, Emilia isn't a good person. Have you ever seen a decent girl flirting with older men in her teens?"

As Inigo spoke, Emilia watched him with a blank expression, her eyes cold and detached.

"George, do you really think you can risk it all for any woman?"

George narrowed his eyes slightly. "You don't look too good. Liver issues, bad breath, yellow teeth, and noticeable tongue coating. You should see a doctor when you get a chance."

Before Inigo could react, George smirked. "You can go to the Windsor Group's hospital. I'll hook you up with a discount."

"The Windsor Group? What's your connection to them?"

Inigo knew George was a doctor before he made his move. Emilia often visited the hospital, mostly to see this doctor. George didn't seem like a gang member, but Inigo planned to use him and Emilia to control her, forcing her to marry his eldest son. If she married his son, Blade of Dusk would be his. If she refused, he'd make sure she joined her mother in the afterlife.

As Inigo frowned and questioned, George smoothly untied the rope behind him, gripped the knife handle firmly, and kneed Inigo in a sensitive spot. With a swift move, the tables turned!

George held the knife to Inigo's neck, his eyes flashing with a hint of red, looking completely different from his usual refined demeanor.

"Has anyone ever told you, before you start playing games, you should know who you're up against?"

"Inigo, don't think I don't know everything Emilia's done. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't care!"

He chose Emilia for who she was, not swayed by outsiders' gossip.

"Who... who are you?"

"What a foolish question. It's been years since anyone spoke to the Windsor family like that."

"The Windsor family... which Windsor family?"

George almost laughed at Inigo's arrogant ignorance. "In Imperia City, how many Windsor families do you think there are?"

Of course, there was only one Windsor family in Imperia City! Not even Inigo, nor the entire Blade of Dusk, could afford to mess with them.

"You're from the Windsor family? Impossible! How could someone from the Windsor family be so easily taken by me..."

George smirked. "Of course, it's not that easy. So, guess who really took whom?"

Inigo turned to see his men lying on the ground, his heart sinking.

"Impossible, why would Emilia be involved with someone from the Windsor family? Do you know who she is..."

George slapped Inigo across the face, his expression darkening as he pressed the knife down, cutting a line on Inigo's neck, making him wince in pain.

"I know who she is better than you."

"And I know if I press this knife a bit harder, you'll be playing cards with the Grim Reaper. Excited?"

Emilia looked at George and whispered, "You need four people to play cards."

George tied Inigo's hands with the skill of a surgeon, then pulled Emilia close, kissing her cheek. "Smart, so we'll send three more down. Doesn't he have two kids and a wife? Perfect!"
