"George isn't trying to insult you."
Emilia shot back, "You're lying. I don't buy it. He must think I've changed just 'cause I didn't go to your family's hospital. Why else would he be chasing after me? I can't even explain this to the gang!"
Catherine sighed, feeling a headache coming on. Dating someone from the Windsor family was definitely a bit of a hassle. Better let George explain this himself.
The class was neither too long nor too short, and Gabriella's teaching was professional and engaging.
After class, Catherine nudged Emilia, who had dozed off next to her. "Emilia, let's go."
Emilia rubbed her sleepy eyes and noticed she had drooled all over a book. She wiped her mouth casually. "I told you, I'm just not cut out for school."
Catherine raised an eyebrow, looking at the book Emilia had somehow acquired. The title "Postpartum Animal Care" stood out. "...If you're interested in agricultural studies, our school has a good program."
Emilia shook her head. "I just grabbed a random book. Didn't even look at the title."
Emilia had picked up the book on her way to class. Since she was going to school, it seemed appropriate to have something in her hands. She flipped through the book, and a photo fell out.
"Catherine, isn't this Richard?"

Emilia frowned. "Is Richard dating someone?"
"Obviously Photoshopped. If you want, I can Photoshop one for you, too."
"No thanks, I'm not interested. If I really liked Richard, I'd just go straight to him and ask for a photo!"
Emilia flipped through the book and was shocked to find a page filled with Catherine's name! "Die, Catherine!" "Catherine, you bitch!" The entire page was filled with hateful and vile words, full of resentment and malice!
Emilia was astonished, "Who is this vicious? Daring to insult my friend! I should slap them a few times!"
Catherine smiled, "Aren't you going to ask why? What if it's my fault?"
"Impossible! Whatever you do is right! If anyone says you have a problem, they should reflect on themselves!"
This blatant favoritism and bias warmed Catherine's heart. She didn't rush to leave, raising an eyebrow as Lyra walked towards her. "This book must be hers."
Finding the culprit, Emilia's expression returned to her usual haughty demeanor. Lyra had been badmouthing Catherine in class for a while. Since she lived in the same neighborhood as Richard, she had Photoshopped several pictures claiming to be his girlfriend. Some classmates believed her, while others didn't, and most remained silent, distancing themselves from Catherine.
Catherine had noticed Lyra when she came in, but didn't care.
Lyra shouted, "Catherine, I know I messed up. Please don't make Richard leave me..."
She had been telling the class that she was Richard's official girlfriend, but Catherine didn't like her. She was targeting her, even going so far as to make Richard break up with her.
Emilia frowned, "You're already reading postpartum care at your age... and your body hasn't returned to pre-pregnancy shape?"
Lyra panicked when she saw the book and photo in Emilia's hand!
"Who are you? You're not in our class. Why are you here?"

"It has a photo of me and Richard! We took it just yesterday!"
Lyra felt proud, sensing the envious looks from her classmates.
That was Richard! Who wouldn't want to date Richard?
Catherine scoffed, "If it's your book, then you wrote everything in it?"
Lyra had forgotten what was in the book. To frame Emilia for stealing, she reluctantly agreed!
"Yes! I wrote everything! This woman stole my book! It's mine!"
Catherine smiled faintly. She opened the book to the page filled with insults towards her.
"Did you write these too? Explain, Lyra. If you can't, Philip, our family lawyer, can have a chat with you."
The Windsor family had only one lawyer, Philip. But he was enough to support the entire legal department of a large corporation!
If Philip had a chat with Lyra, it wouldn't be simple!
Catherine continued, "Also, Richard has been home these days. I've never seen you there. I'll send your photo to Richard for verification. The Windsor family's legal team is very experienced with defamation cases."
Lyra visibly panicked!

Emilia looked at her with disdain.
"You're a student at a prestigious university. Where did you learn to lie so much? Your statements contradict each other. Better get your brain checked."
Lyra, humiliated and angry, didn't dare provoke Catherine, so she targeted the unfamiliar girl!
"How dare you, an ugly freak, talk to me? Covered in scars and still showing your face?"
Emilia smiled, "Catherine, if I cause trouble, will you back me up?"
