Chapter 321 Finally Together!

Felix let out a cold snort. "Fox, I don't want to curse you out in front of everyone today, but if you make us miss Vivienne's memorial, you're out of the Howard family for good."

It was clear he intended to kick Fox out of the family!

Evander's voice was icy. "Juniper is my kid, and Catherine is Alexander's fiancée. What's the problem with them being here?"

Fox took the cigar from his mouth. "Since when did you have a kid? And as for the fiancée... I've heard Catherine never acknowledged that title."

"Alexander, you're from a respectable family. Catherine doesn't see you as her equal."

Catherine raised an eyebrow, her expression cold. The Howard family members were all a bunch of lunatics! Each one had their own agenda, all trying to pull Alexander down from his position at the Howard Group. But aside from Felix, none of the other Howard family members were interested in the family's affairs. The Howard Group's success was all thanks to Alexander's efforts!

Catherine let out a cold laugh. "And how do you know I don't acknowledge that title? Did I tell you that? Or is Mr. Howard secretly a fortune teller? If you're that good, you should go into fortune telling instead of causing trouble here."

Fox was indeed here to cause trouble. "Ms. Catherine Windsor, does Mr. Brandon Windsor know how sharp-tongued you are?"

"My dad and grandpa are on their way. If Mr. Howard is interested, I can arrange for you all to have a drink together."

Ezekiel shouted from the back. "Ms. Windsor, I heard you don't like Alexander. If you don't like him, why waste his time?"

Catherine glanced at Ezekiel. Just as Alexander was about to speak, Catherine's voice, calm yet tinged with amusement, cut through the air. "And how do you know I don't like him? Is Ezekiel's hobby also fortune telling?"

Catherine's lips curled into a cold smile as she reached out and took Alexander's hand. The moment their fingers intertwined, Alexander's eyes were filled with wild joy! Standing next to Alexander, Catherine could hear his rapid heartbeat, like a drum, filled with indescribable joy and disbelief! It seemed her choice was right.

Catherine raised their clasped hands and shook them. "I don't dislike him. As Alexander's fiancée, I believe I have every right to be here."

Juniper, standing nearby, covered her mouth and quietly moved closer to Evander. As an observer, she was moved by Catherine's bold and direct confession of her feelings for Alexander!

Alexander, in disbelief, asked, "Catherine, what did you say?"

"I won't repeat myself."

"You said you like me! Is it true? You won't regret it?"

Catherine looked up at Alexander. She wasn't acting on a whim, nor was it out of pity for Alexander being alone in the world. Falling in love wasn't a single moment; it was a collection of many moments! From their first meeting at the border to countless secret competitions. In the midst of a bustling city, he was always the one waiting for her under the dim lights. Whenever he looked at her, his eyes were always filled with her image. After countless insignificant events, she realized that those trivial grievances mattered when he reached out to her.

It was after many moments of realizing their deep connection that Catherine suddenly understood that if she missed this person, she might truly regret it one day!

Seeing the interactions of the Howard family today, Catherine realized that her presence here was never about that insignificant title.

An engagement, whether to her or the Windsor family, was never a constraint.

She came here, always... because of Alexander!

After arriving, Catherine realized that in this world, Alexander was like her, swimming against the current in a vast family.

The people around him couldn't bring him warmth, yet he gave all his gentleness and warmth to her!

Catherine tightened her grip on Alexander's hand.

Firmly, she said, "I won't do anything I'll regret, so if you betray me, I will kill you."

"Alexander, I'm not a patient person. If you're with me, your eyes can only have me in them!"

Feeling Catherine's determination, Alexander felt like his heart was about to burst out of his chest!

He laughed softly, joy filling every nerve, a sense of completeness he had never felt before. In that moment, Alexander realized his life could be colorful!

"Alright! Don't worry, I won't give you that chance."

Catherine looked up and said softly, "And your dad was wrong. I never wanted to ignore you."

At most, she found Alexander too annoying, interrupting her work, so she blocked him a few times...

"Yes, he was wrong."

Catherine raised an eyebrow. "Can't you speak? Are you a parrot?"

"I'm just too happy. Whatever you say is right. I'll listen to you!"

Alexander's face, handsome enough to be a star, was filled with unprecedented joy and satisfaction. If it weren't for all the people around, he would have wanted to hold Catherine and talk to her!

God knows how happy he was right now!

Catherine, feeling Alexander's joy, also smiled.

She lifted her chin, looking at the group of people in front of her.

"I don't like them, so I'm going to deal with them!"

Alexander's gaze turned to the few middle-aged members of the Howard family, his eyes returning to their cold, ruthless state!

"You're not welcome here. If Fox can't understand human language, then we won't waste words!"

Fox snorted.

"What do you want to do? I'm already here. You can't just kick me out!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a dozen bodyguards appeared out of nowhere, surrounding Fox's people. Each bodyguard, wearing sunglasses, held a snarling lion on a leash!

Mars, disguised in the crowd, pulled out a special spray and started spraying it wildly at Fox and his group!

A strong stench, like rotting fish and shrimp mixed with an indescribable foul odor, filled the air, making people gag.

Ezekiel covered his nose, frowning. "Did you fart? Why does it smell so bad? What did you eat for lunch?"

Mars, spraying Ezekiel's face, retorted, "So greedy? Smelling it isn't enough, you want the recipe too?"

Ezekiel, his mouth filled with the stench, started dry heaving on the spot!

Mars found an opening, rolled out, and sat at Catherine's feet, giving her a thumbs-up.

"Mission accomplished!"

"This spray is a dog's favorite. If they can't understand human language, let's see if they understand dog language!"

The surrounding dogs, attracted by the smell that humans found unbearable but dogs loved, had their eyes turn blood-red!
