Chapter 109 Get Her Tipsy

Eula brought the soup to the living room, placed a bowl in front of Judson, and sat on the sofa to eat while watching TV.

A variety show was on, featuring one of her favorite male celebrities.

She relished the evening, enjoying the soup and watching her idol on screen – it was sheer bliss.

Judson tossed his phone on the coffee table, tasted the soup, finding it not overly sweet but quite refreshing, and he quite liked it.

He glanced over at her; the girl was completely engrossed in the TV, paying no attention to him.

So he casually loosened the tie of his black robe, revealing the seductive contours of his collarbone. Surely, the male celebs on TV were no match for him. Wouldn't she rather look his way?

But the girl was so captivated by the show that her eyes almost seemed glued to the screen. Judson grabbed the remote and turned off the TV with a click.
Eula glanced sharply over her shoulder, "What are you doing? It's just getting good!"

The street dance performance was incredible, with the final flourish being the tearing off of their shirts, wild and utterly captivating.

Judson glanced at the time, "It's nine o'clock. I have a rule to stop all entertainment at nine."

Uh...

Talk about old-fashioned. Bedtime at nine? No phone, no TV, doesn't he get bored?

Eula sipped her soup and ventured a question, "So what, you just go to sleep every night without watching TV or checking your phone?"

Must be a senior citizen's routine!

Judson replied coolly, "I read."

Eula was speechless; the man had culture, something she couldn't compete with.

With no more words, silence fell over the room again.

Just then, Judson's phone rang and he casually snatched it up to answer.

"Speak."

One icy word thrown out there, he was the epitome of coolness.

Eula unconsciously shivered, he was colder than the night's chill.

"Not going."

Judson hung up and tossed his phone aside.

Eula had finished her drink, pulling out her phone to casually browse, she noticed a new message from Darcy.

“Eula, I'm at my wit's end, tomorrow I have to drag that bastard Tony Hudson to the hospital for a test.”

It was sent two hours ago. Eula thought about replying.

But Darcy was probably at work and wouldn't check her messages, she'd wait until tomorrow.

Suddenly, Judson was on another call, cursing loudly this time.

"Elbert Hicks, can't you understand? Are you deaf?"

Just as he was about to hang up, Eula tugged on his pajamas.

"Elbert Hicks wants to meet up with you?"

She was trying to get close to Elbert Hicks, and if she could leverage her connection through Judson, that would be perfect.

Judson didn't hang up the phone but nodded.

Eula couldn't help but smile, "Judson, it's still early. How about I go with you? You get to hang out longer and I'll be your driver."

Did Judson need a driver?

But he agreed, "Send the address, we'll head over."

Eula's smile broadened. She patted her face to suppress the laughter, then texted Darcy.

“Darcy, I'll help you out. I've got good news for you.”

After sending the message, she stifled a chuckle and slipped her phone back into her purse.

"Judson, go get changed. I'll wash the dishes."

She picked up their bowls and headed for the kitchen while Judson watched her go. He sent a message in his bachelor’s group chat.

Big Bachelor: “Eula's coming later, find a way to get her drunk for me.”

He didn't believe she could resist if she were drunk.
