Chapter 454 Treat Me Like a Mom
After dinner, the two left the restaurant and strolled around the mall.
Susan took her to a clothing store, and as soon as they entered, the staff greeted them. "Ms. Carnegie."
The place where they ate was inside the S Mall in Fashion City. Susan was the founder of S Mall and would occasionally come by for inspections, so they knew her.
Susan nodded slightly. From now on, the S Mall Group would belong to Eula.
No matter which company that man was the president of, Eula was worthy of him.
If she got married, Susan would prepare many things for her to ensure she had a grand wedding.
Susan nodded slightly and walked into the store with Eula. "Eula, this brand's clothes are pretty good. They also have children's clothes. You can pick some for them. I'll pay; it's my gift to them."
She wanted to give much more but didn't dare to all at once, fearing it would scare Eula.
She had Tiffany handle the S Group matters. Tiffany was Eula's mentor, so Eula would likely listen to her.
Eula felt embarrassed. "Ms. Carnegie, there's no need. I said I would bring them gifts; I can buy them myself."
She used to not dare enter such stores. These international brands were too expensive.
A single piece of children's clothing could cost thousands of dollars. With three kids, how could she afford it?
Although she still found it expensive now, she could at least afford it.
Susan touched her little face. She had wanted to do that for a long time. It was tender, just like when she was a child, only without the baby fat.
"Eula, you're being too polite. I'm about the same age as your mother, so I consider your children as my own grandchildren. Please don't refuse me, okay?"
Seeing her sincerity, Eula couldn't refuse anymore. "Okay."
So she started picking out clothes. When she saw something she liked, she would first check the price. If it was too high, she would quickly let go.
Susan, following behind her, noticed this. Eula was just too kind-hearted.
She quietly instructed, "Wrap up all the clothes she looked at, and get the sizes she mentioned."
The staff behind them got busy. After Eula had walked around, she apologetically said to Susan, "Ms. Carnegie, I didn't find anything suitable for them. Let's keep looking."
As she said this, Eula thought to herself, she really had been too naive before.
She used to think that this brand's children's clothes cost at most a few thousand dollars. She didn't expect the ones she just looked at to be tens of thousands of dollars.
Three kids with three outfits each would be nearly two hundred thousand dollars.
Forget it, she couldn't afford it, and she couldn't let Susan pay either.
She planned to find a store where she usually shopped at, where the kids would also feel comfortable in the clothes.
Susan, however, smiled lightly, "You didn't find anything, but I did."
It turned out the president also had to pay.
Actually, it was because she had transferred the company to Eula's name. She was no longer the president, just a customer.
Eula then noticed that the store's clothes seemed to be all gone. Looking at the bags piled up at the checkout counter, she was slightly shocked. "Ms. Carnegie, this is too much. Kids grow fast; they won't be able to wear all of these."
She usually bought them two outfits per season. After wearing them, they would outgrow them quickly.
Susan just laughed, "It's okay. They can change outfits every day. Kids get their clothes dirty easily."
Eula knew it was useless to say more, so she sighed and felt very embarrassed.
It was still because she was too poor. Angie would be very happy to see so many beautiful clothes.
Her two sons would look even more handsome in these clothes.
Susan had her write down an address so she wouldn't have to carry everything on the plane. It would be too troublesome. They would ship everything directly to her home.
