Chapter 488 He Was the One Who Provoked Her First

Eula supported Geoffrey, stayed by David's side, met the guests, and then faced the reporters.

Eula's mood was at its lowest.

Her eyes had lost their light, her mind was in a haze, and she had no idea what she was doing.

She didn't expect David to make such a big deal out of it, even inviting the media. Normally, he disliked the media, thinking they liked to fabricate stories, without real significance.

Darcy arrived with Elbert; David had invited all the high society of City A.

Hugo was there too, standing in the crowd, lightly swirling a wine glass in his hand.

Elbert asked him, "Hugo, what's going on here?"

Wasn't Eula the woman Judson loved the most? How could Judson allow her to be someone else's fiancée?

Hugo didn't bring a date today. He took a sip of his drink, his expression darkening slightly. "Let's go check on Judson! He must be having a hard time."

Darcy was anxious too, but at that moment, Eula and the others were in front of the cameras, being interviewed, so she couldn't rush over.

She tugged on Elbert's hand, "Elbert, it can't be like this. Geoffrey did Eula a favor. He's blind, and Eula is just repaying him by taking care of him."

Darcy understood Eula's feelings and knew who she loved.

Today's banquet was a huge misunderstanding, and Eula was the most affected.

She felt a pang of anxiety for her and followed Elbert to Judson's side.

Judson's cold stare at Eula was truly terrifying.

Darcy shrank back, whispering. "Mr. Nash looks so scary! He wouldn't hit a woman, would he?"

If he did, Eula might end up seriously injured, if not crippled.

Elbert pulled her into his arms, "He doesn't hit women, but men might be a different story."

He glanced at Geoffrey, standing next to Eula. Geoffrey even dared to put his arm around Eula's shoulder. Elbert thought that hand might be in danger of being crippled.

Kristina didn't dare approach Judson, but she had to seize this opportunity to make her presence known.

She walked up to him, proactively linking her arm with his, and smiled slightly. "Judson, Mr. Nash is watching! Don't disappoint him, okay?"

Judson couldn't think about anyone else at that moment. He shook her off, and Kristina stumbled back several steps. If Hugo hadn't caught her, she might have fallen embarrassingly to the ground.

Hugo steadied her and gently said, "Ms. Lowe, be careful!"

Kristina didn't care anymore. Even now, Judson didn't pay her any attention.

She lifted her skirt and walked to his side. His gaze remained fixed on Eula. Though it was cold, his eyes were on her.

A man like Judson had never cared about anyone before.

She couldn't understand how someone like Eula, who had children, could catch his eye and hold such deep affection.

"Judson, stop looking. Geoffrey is the father of Eula's three children. They had a relationship six years ago. They are the real family, the true family." Kristina added.

David's speech had already made it clear, but Kristina felt the need to explain it again, and in such explicit terms.

She just wanted Judson to hate Eula, so she would have a chance.

Her only goal in life was to marry Judson, no matter what it took.

She wanted to be his woman, bear his children, and become the envy of all women in City A.

Because he was the one who first approached her, signing a love contract with her.

That meant they were destined to be together.
