Chapter 367 Kept Her by My Side
Kristina was super bummed, trying to figure out how to help Robert get better.
Jessica kept praying, mumbling to herself. Normally, she wasn't into that stuff, but with the Nash family in such a mess and hoping for more kids soon, she started to believe.
She hoped God would help Robert recover and that Judson would get married and have kids soon.
The biggest dream was for the Nash family to have more great-grandkids, which would be awesome.
"Kristina, you see Mr. Nash's health hasn't been great lately. Why don't you come back to see him in a bit?"
Kristina kept staring into the house, thinking about her next move.
Hearing Jessica, she grabbed her bag.
"Mrs. Nash, I'll head out now and come back in a few days to check on Mr. Nash." She turned and left, her face turning cold. 'If I didn't want to marry into the Nash family, I wouldn't even give Jessica the time of day! She likes Eula and always supports her.'
Thinking about it made Kristina even more upset, her eyes darkening with anger.
She got back in the car, and the driver asked, "Ms. Lowe, where to?"
The driver was ready to go.
Kristina picked up her bag and threw it at his head. "Did I say drive?"
The driver stopped, letting her vent. After getting hit and scratched, she finally calmed down.
"Let's go! I want to go to the Nash Group."
The driver, touching his face and head, was really pissed. He was unlucky to have Kristina as a passenger.
Eula had breakfast with Geoffrey and then cleaned up.
"Geoffrey, I gotta go to work now. I can't come at noon. Please eat well, okay? Don't make me worry."
She checked the time; it was almost nine. Luckily, the office was just a five-minute drive away.
Geoffrey suddenly grabbed her hand. "Eula, can you stop working at the Nash Group?"
It was obvious Judson wanted Eula at the Nash Group to date her.
Eula looked at his hand holding hers and sighed. "Geoffrey, I can take care of you, but I can't just change my work and life, right?"
She liked her job and didn't want to change her life.
Geoffrey could tell she didn't want to leave Judson. He didn't know what Judson had done to make her so attached.
"Eula, I'm really scared. My world is dark now, and I need you." Hearing this, Eula's heart ached. 'Oh! He's blind and living in darkness. He must be so scared.'
Eula thought for a moment. 'Now's the time to repay his kindness. Geoffrey needs me, so I could take some time off and go back to work when he's better.'
"Geoffrey, I get it. I'll go ask for leave now and be back soon."
She pulled her hand away and quickly left the room. Geoffrey wanted to stop her, but it was too late.
Geoffrey watched her leave, the light in his eyes flickering.
If she really wentto ask Judson for leave, they would definitely argue.
