Chapter 226 Begging for Mercy

Eula and her family returned home. Since they all slept late last night, after lunch, they all went to bed to catch up on sleep.

Around three o'clock, Eula was awakened by the sound of her phone with money transferring notifications.

She reached out, grabbed her phone to take a look, originally wanting to see who had messaged her, but unexpectedly, they were all transfer notifications.

Eula was startled and screamed.

Her voice echoed through the entire building, and it was just transfers from the mobile bank, which she didn't need to accept at all.

Upon hearing her scream, Mary and the three children all rushed into her bedroom.

"Eula, what's wrong?" Mary asked anxiously. "Eula, what's happened?"

Eula suddenly jumped out of bed, hugged Mary, and then hugged the three children.

Angie, with big eyes blinking, wanted to join in the excitement, but her two brothers held her small hand.

"Angie, don't. You're hurt."

Angie could only watch as Eula danced in front of them. The three of them were stunned, not knowing what good news had happened.

Eula was unexpectedly happy like a child.

Eula finally saw the money in the mobile bank, one million one hundred thousand, not a penny less.

She blinked her big eyes, pondering.

"The police helped us recover the money, but the fifty thousand we borrowed was also returned. It's strange. Should I remind them and return this fifty thousand?"

Mary chuckled. "Eula, you're too kind! The police surely won't make a mistake."

After what happened yesterday, with Angie getting injured and Judson handling it, those people surely wouldn't dare to ask for money again.

Mary was a smart person, she easily saw through the truth.

Eula, however, felt uneasy. What she owed, she naturally wanted to repay.

Though she was poor, if it wasn't her money, she wouldn't take it.

Eula sat on the bed and looked at the three children.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry! If you haven't had enough sleep, you can go back to sleep."

Angie sat beside her, leaning against her.

"Eula, I was clumsy last night, I stumbled, and scared you. I'm sorry," Angie said.

Eula smiled, patting her little face.

"The one who should apologize is me. I didn't take care of you well, letting you encounter such a thing. It won't happen again."

She wouldn't borrow from loan sharks again. She would work hard to give the three children a good life.

Dewitt and Rodolfo stood opposite Eula and Angie, watching them with a hint of a smile in their eyes.

They didn't quite understand the friendship between girls, but they enjoyed seeing Eula and Angie happy.

After playing with the three children for a while, Eula changed her clothes and went out.

Driving her red car, Eula went to the loan company. The storefront was still there, and the receptionist warmly welcomed her.
She was led to the manager's office, where Hubert sat, full of injuries, all thanks to her.

"Hubert, this lady is looking for you."

When Hubert saw her, his eyes widened, almost wanting to hide under the table.

Eula walked over calmly and sat in the chair opposite him.

"Hubert, the money I borrowed, I will return every penny to you."

With that, she took out her phone.

"Give me an account number, fifty-five thousand. I will return every penny to you."

Hubert was at a loss, thinking of Eula's ferocious appearance last night, his legs trembling.

He also knew now that Eula was Judson's woman. If he hadn't begged for a long time today and offered some benefits, he probably wouldn't be able to sit here anymore. He would've probably ended up in the police station, or even be disabled.

Hubert wiped his forehead, pleading, "Eula, please spare me!"
